My three year old was begging for a cuckoo clock. No idea how he got it in his head. So, I got this for his third birthday and he was pretty pleased. It's great. It's not a toy, though. Just so you know. Anyway, I put it up on a shelf in his room, but had to take it out. It ticks so loud that I worried it would turn my son insane. Or me. I don't mind a ticking clock, but this one is ridiculous. Way too loud. Super cute, though.

I sent the clock to my granddaughter for her birthday. It is larger than I expected, but very pretty. She loves it. I was also pleased it has a sensor that prevents the "cookoo/meow" at night. A great gift to any child who loves cats as she does.
