This cable is precisely what it claims to be - an adapter that allows a cellular phone headset with a 2.5mm connector or an XBox 360 headset to plug into 3.5mm microphone and speaker jacks, such as the ones often found on the front of computers, on USB Sound cards, or on portable video game systems.

I got this product in a timely manor. I use it on my computer so that I can use one of my Xbox 360 headsets for my webcam. It's a simple construction and easy to use. No lose of sounds quality with this one.

The Phone Headset Buddy is such a great product! Now when I travel I don't have to bring two pairs of headsets, I just bring my phone headset and I can use it on my PC with Skype or Google Voice. Does exactly what it says, converts 2.5mm phone headset plug to two 3.5mm PC mic/audio plugs. I'm so happy to finally have a phone headset to pc adapter!!

This is a great little product, especially for office use! I have a Panasonic cordless which only takes 2.5mm headset. I also use Skype (which uses the conventional 3.5mm green and pink plugs) to talk to my partner overseas. So instead of having two headsets, one for each device - now all I have to do is use my 2.5mm for both devices!

I don't use this a *lot* but I've had it for a year and it works fine. Lets me use an inexpensive (but nice quality) $10 headset (which I have lots of for our phones) with the PC.

Needed a way to reduce how much I had to pack for business trips. This allows me to utilize my cell phone headset with my PC for my skype account. I don't have to pack my pc headset along anymore. Very nice. Works great. Exactly what I was looking for and a great price.

I just received this product within 3 days from the seller. I recently took two jobs working from home. One required taking calls from the PC while the other from a telephone. I needed a good headset and didn't want to buy two so I looked EVERYWHERE for an adapter like this and no one had them.

With this adapter I was able to plug in my PC headset into the adapter and the adapter into my telephone and it worked perfectly. Calls are clear, I can be heard and I can hear them. When I'm not using the phone, I unplug from the adapter and plug up to the PC again. One headset for both devices.

Another bonus is I can hear the caller out of both the left and right sides. I can't understand why no one seems to sell this adapter and I can understand why its so pricey. But it was either 15 dollars for the adapter or 100 for an extra headset. I figured I would give it a try. Seeing how frustrating it was to search for this to begin with I just wanted to make it clear so it's easy on those looking. Yes this Adapter allows you to use your PC Headset with your 2.5mm plug in telephone.

I just wanted to let people considering buying this, that the product that is now pictured is not what I bought. Mine is a square shaped black piece with only one cable. This looks nothing like what I have so please don't buy it based on my review. Anyway, hope that helps!

I work at a call center and we recently switched to VoIP phone units. As before to get a nice headset that'd be compatable with our phone I'd have to fork out about $300-400 for what I was looking for, I pounced on the new system when it had a 2.5mm jack.

This lets me use standard, comfier, better, and more cost effective headsets on our phone system, and the adapter works perfectly. I end up saving a ton of money on the end, and if I ever quit the job I'll still have a working headset I have a use for, but I'm pretty sure the adapter isn't worth $15.

Target sells a VoIP headset that comes with an adapter that fulfills the exact same purpose. The headset and adapter there goes for $20, and adapters that go from 2.5mm to dual 3.5mm are about $2.

Still, I save a ton of money in the end. Anyone looking for high comfort for a low price will still end up miles ahead by buying this!

I recently purchased an adapter on the Amazon Marketplace and mistakenly purchased the wrong one. I contacted The Headset Buddy/Webko, LLC was able to work directly with them to make the exchange. I appreciated their prompt response and making the transaction so easy.

I bought this to use to utilize my over the ear headset that was 2.5mm to use with my 3.5mm Blackberry Tour port. Sound quality was good but the product was terrible otherwise. After the first time using it the metal piece started stripping and after 3 uses I couldnt even fit it into the 3.5mm port of the Blackberry (but my Blackberry 3.5mm headset worked fine so it was this product not the phone)

If you were planning on using it for the same purpose, do not buy this, it will be a waste of your money
