I now have six of these! First was in orange, which led my wife to say, "Why Orange?" So I bought one in her favorite color, red, then blue, then white, then black, then lime green. Not just because she likes color. The hat is extremely comfortable, light weight, and helps in sweat absorbtion. It also washes up beautifully. I've been running for many years, and very few hats have been right--too stiff, too heavy, hard to clean, no sweat band etc. This one pretty much does it all--and the colors really are great. I've cleaned my drawer of all my hats except my marathon commemoratives. Not that I really ever wear them.

Odd looking hat.. barely fits over my head and I wear 7 3/8 or 7 1/2.

I bought this hat (in plain white) as an alternative to the Halo visor I had purchased earlier. While the Halo works very well at keeping sweat out of my eyes, the visor is constructed in a way that in not terribly appealing looking when I wear it. The Halo II headband alone option works very well, especially under a cycling helmet. Back to this hat, which fits well, is good looking, but does not perform any better than any other ball-type hat I wear when running. I sweat profusely, and in the hot, humid Louisville summers we have here, this product just does not perform as advertised to my satisfaction. If you tend to sweat buckets like I do, I'd look elsewhere.

I ordered three of these hats: limeade, orange and royal blue. The blue fit, but the terrycloth sweatband was sewn defectively- stuck outside the hat. The limeade was so small that it wouldn't fit on my head!!
I wish I could say the orange was "just right", but it wasn't. The panels were misshapen, but usable and not too unsightly, and I kept it because it fit (sort of, it was a little big), it is cool when worn; and I can be located in a crowd when wearing it.

Like the hat, keeps head cool and sweat from coming down into my eyes. Only problem is that the thin plastic on the buckle broke almost immediately. I'm trying to tie the 2 straps of the hat together in the back now.

I never wore a hat when working out until this one. A friend convinced me to try it and now I'm completely sold. I sweat a lot and this hat not only keeps me cool, I'm not wiping sweat out of my eyes or off my face when I run now. It's very lightweight but holds its own. The back buckle gives me the perfect custom fit.

You must have a melon head if this hat doesn't fit you. I was almost turned away from buying this hat at first after reading some of the reviews. I'm glad I went ahead and bought it anyways. The hat is snug but not tight at all. There is room to add more space if needed. The hat is very light and can just be thrown in the washer if needed. I bought mine in navy blue but will most likely buy another in a different color. Amazon has a great price for the hat and it sure beats carrying a sweat towel on the treadmill.

Just ran the Peachtree Road Race 10-K (a July 4th tradition in Atlanta), and this performed great! The hat fits well, although getting used to the namesake 'sweatband' headband is an ongoing process the 3 weeks I've owned it. Once it's on and set it does what it's supposed to in comfort. I also bought a "Halo" hat just prior to the race, and the choice the morning of the race was easy--this one is better. The concept of my red Halo is to channel sweat w/a rubber gasket, and it's actually not bad at all, but maybe simple (i.e. white, lots of ventilation, absorb the sweat as it comes off) is best--results could probably vary among users. Would recommend for anyone who doesn't mind something fairly plain but pretty effective.

I got this hat for summer running and am glad I did. My head still gets hot but much less than in a cotton hat. The sweat band is really nice and the hat is super comfortable. If you're worried about it fitting, don't worry, unless you have a really large or small head it will work. If you've had any other adjustable hat and it has fit, this will work for you. THE BILL IS LARGE, not so large that it looks weird, but definitely enough protection to protect your face. I still wear sunglasses but I love the size of this bill for running where I don't want to be bothered by anything.

My only gripe is that I thought I'd be able to wear the hat around more, this is not really the the most stylish hat on the market. It is fine for running when efficiency counts but not the best looking hat in my opinion. The logo is kinda ugly and large.

If you're considering this hat for any outside activity (yard work included) go for it!

Turns out it is my favorite running hat now. It's very lightweight and clearly pulling sweat from my head and getting it to evaporate as much as it can to keep the head cool.
Orange is great to aid visibility. probably will order another.
