This visor has been great at absorbing my sweat during my runs. Here in Okinawa, Japan it is extremely humid and I don't get any sweat running down in to my face. However, this hat does run a bit small so the pressure can be a bit much for a my 10+ mile runs.

the back strap is completely elastic so it could be too tight if you have a large head. But it's very heavy duty and I have enjoyed running with it.
