I received this wonderful CD as a gift, and I shall be forever grateful! As much as I love "Touch By An Angel" on TV, I hadn't purchased any of the prior CDs for one reason or another, and was truly skeptical that "Miss Wings" could perform and contribute to a music CD (we all know her "can't carry a tune in a bucket" reputation, right?). Let me tell you, this CD is a GEM! Roma Downey's melodic voice is the perfect companion to the phenominal words and music by Phil Coulter. I cannot begin to imagine a more uplifting, spiritually enhancing piece of work! Even the child's voice on "My Little Angel" is inspired. This inspirational collection is for EVERYONE, especially as an extra-special gift...to yourself! I am purchasing several more copies for my family and friends! PLEASE, Phil and Roma, can we have some more?

I purchased this CD a week and a half ago out of curiosity, basically. Two days ago it arrived and I've played it many times. The tranquility of the orchestration, the gentle sincerity of Roma Downey's voice soothes your spirit and quiets your soul. It is a truly uplifting CD that reminds you of the Saviour's presence and His gift of eternal life to those earnestly seeking. It is a pleasure to recommend this CD to family and friends looking for encouragement as well as a glimmer of hope. I look forward to more projects like this from Ms. Downey!

Each and every one of these tracks touches the soul and brings tears to the eyes. It starts with "Be Thou My Vision", the beautiful Gaelic song that expresses the importance of having God with us. Then there is "Loving", which asks the question "How can you not love?" Then there is "In Perfect Harmony" about the happiness of marriage. Next is "The Old Man", about the sad loss of a loved one. "Peace and Healing" followed by "My Little Angel" are two of the most beautiful poignant song on the album. Both songs fill the soul with happiness and bring tears to the eyes. There is "A Simple Prayer" which is one of my most loved because of the truthfullness in the lyrics. The sad song "Longing" shows what we long for in life. "Suffer The Little Children", like "My Little Angel", shows the beauty of children and the importance of watching over children, the same way the Savior loved the children. Then there is one of the best songs on the album, "Till Death Do Us Part", a song that teaches us that death is not the end of blessings, but the beginning of a happy life in Heaven. We hear another Irish prayer "I Am The Wind", a song that reminds us that all things are spiritual. Second to last is the very lovely "Gold and Silver Days", about the wonderful happy moments in life. Last is "An Irish Blessing", which reflects the blessings of God.

While we hear the touching spiritual words and the lovely voice of Roma, it is also important to focus on the music. This is not a sophisticated Christian pop album, but beautiful ambient Celtic Christian music that invites the Spirit of God. It has orchestrations that fill the atmoshpere with equisite music. The music also expresses the Irish spirit with whistles and uillean pipes. There are the two guest vocalists Aoife Ni Fhearraighand Brian Kennedy, with the perfect Irish voice. This album also has two intrumental tracks without Roma's voice, probably meant to touch your soul with the spiritual uplifting music.

This album is a pure MUST! Get it and listen to the spiritual lyrics and the poignant music. It is sure to touch your soul and change your life.

How do i explain how my heart leaped in my throat.How do i explainthe way my eyes and spirit cried with understanding and joy. This music is a pleasure to the soul,Roma Downey,has found her nitch.What they make fun of on her show as far as her "singing" voice,she makes up in spoken word. The music is Celtic in origin,and is comforting and uplifting at the same time The combination is magic through music and the words, that go through life changes,through faith in God,and family. I give this the highest rating and recommendation.

You will not be disappointed with this CD. Roma Downey, with her her lovely voice of the Irish,and paired up with Phil Coulter on the piano, make this an outstanding CD. Listening to Roma Downey, will bring you back to the basic values of life, that we all have forgotten, and wish we could, all return to.

I heard one of the songs on the radio a few months ago and had wanted to get a copy of the CD for my sister just so that she could dedicate that song to my 4 year old niece. When I went to the store, I found myself getting 2 more (one for myself and another for a friend). I am planning to get one more for another friend of mine. It has since become one of my all time favorites. The celtic music accentuates the soothing voice of Roma Downey. Spiritual. Inspiring. Touching. Soothing.

"Healing Angel" gives each listener a sense of spiritual well-being though the timeless themes of faith, love, and loss. Roma Downey's soft, angelic accent lends a gentleness to these ancient Celtic texts that inspiried Phil Coulter to write such beautiful meditations on life.

This is one CD which can melt away the stresses of daily life. "Healing Angel" would make a woderful gift for anyone who has lost someone special or just needs a little extra "pick up".

If you're looking for a CD that you can wind down with at the end of a hectic day, this is *THE* CD to get! The whole album is extremely relaxing, peaceful, & enjoyable to listen to, not to mention thought-provoking at the same time. I'm so glad I bought this one, you'll not be disappointed.

I suppose there is much to be said about the contents of this CD. I am however certain that, in fact, much more is felt while listening to 'Healing Angel'.
The music is beautiful and, most importantly, not overwhelming. The read lyrics highlight the importance of fully living both the beautiful and difficult moments EVERYONE has to come across while on this Earth.
It may certainly not be everyone's cup of tea, but I will surely recommend it to anyone willing to give it a try.
If Bushido was to be presented in the form of music, this could come close, in my humble opinion.

This CD is the best I've come across using 'voice overs'. Roma Downey's voice is soothing to the soul as she speaks out truths about the God of all comfort. I highly recommend it. If you are grieving over something, or someone, this CD will help you through the bad times.
