Whether you are just getting introduced to the concept of homeopathy or have a long-standing interest in health and healing, McCabe's "The Healing Bouquet" will open your eyes to the vitality of Bach Flower remedies. Straddling the area between homeopathic and herbal medicine, the Bach Flower remedies add another tool to your personal medicine cabinet; this book outlines what they can (and can not) do. McCabe has an amazing ability to write with conviction and authority while keeping a conversational -- even humorous at times -- tone. Most tellingly, he explains the underlying theories of emotion and mood that help guide decisions on which Bach Flower remedy to use for a particular person or condition. The remedies are, he explains eloquently, "a mirror we can each look into to see the truth of our lives." Good health is not simply the absence of illness, he believes, writing, "Those who take the remedies must first admit the existence of their destructive emotional and behavioral patteners before they can begin to change their thoughts and actions." McCabe's book is a must for any holistic practitioner who wants to delve deep into challenges of healing with homeopathy.

Although I am a wholistic practitioner, I had little knowledge of the Bach Flower Remedies. This book is written in an entertaining and informative way, and is so thorough that I will be able to incorporate these remedies into my practice.My friends have enjoyed picking up the book and becoming interested in these remedies because they immediately see an application to themselves or someone they love.

I am relatively new to the homeopathy world, and am so glad to have discovered this author. Some books on this topic are so tedious and humorless, and McCabe's style is warm and gets right to the point. As the reviewer above said, this book is fun to read even if you are not in immediate need of a remedy; I have left it on my coffee table and friends pick it up and start getting interested. And btw, the Bach remedies cured my insomnia after many many years of trying everything else, so thank you Mr. McCabe!

Vinton McCabe's book on the Bach flower remedies is, quite simply, the best book that I have seen on the subject. Written with his usual warmth and wit (I have several of his books about homeopathy), I find that my friends LOVE reading this book just for the fun of it. I will admit it's fun to pick up and read a section or three and recognize your loved ones in the descriptions of various flower types. But fun aside, it is a remarkable book about getting to know the gentle but powerful Bach flower remedies, and how to use them. The book helps me to use the remedies to keep myself on an even keel, and friends of mine- some of whom practice health care in various capacities- use the book to go much deeper in their use of the remedies. Easy to read yet incredibly comprehensive, the book is great for anyone.
