I truly enjoyed this CD. I use the music in my Yoga and meditation classes and my students can really identify with the combination of the Yoga flow and also all the breath work that I incorporate into the class. I find that each time I play the music I can also focus on the students movement and allow each student to move into the poses and the transitions work well from one Yoga flow to the next. I have played other Yoga music, but I find that my students always request this CD. A definite thumbs up to this beautiful selection.

I picked this CD up while on vacation in Los Angeles while traversing through Little Tokyo--this was definitely a lucky find. I also work as a massage therapist, and typically, I prefer to burn my own CDs as I'm not fond of the usual 'waves and birds chirping' tracks that you find on most 'relaxing' CD--this manages to bypass all that as it's a mostly instrumental track list, with light vocals that blend right in with the melody of the instruments.

This is a great compilation of soothing music with quite some traditional East Asian/Japanese music elements in it. I came across this in a Japanese supermarket complex in New Jersey, and I was totally LUCKY to have picked up this CD!!!

The majority of the tunes have blended electronic music elements (ex. ambience) into traditional Japanese/Chinese instruments such as Erhu and flute. Light vocals are also in some of the tracks to add another color to it.

As a music lover, I am going to venture more into this electronic/world realm and get the rest of the Healing Collection series! If you are tired of listening "bird chirps" and want inspiration, I will definitely recommend this.
