Hope for eczema sufferers., December 8, 2008
Everything you want and need to know by someone who has been there. There is so much information and misinformation out in the merry land of the internet that it can be very confusing. Most sites I visited while searching for help simply attempted to sell me the next "Miracle Cure" for eczema. I knew better. Other sites, backed by doctors, dermatologists and pharmeceutical companies and also fueled by nothing other than self interest, tell you that eczema is "incurable". I never bought that one either. Then I found Christina Nevada's website. I knew from her honest detailed description of her own suffering that she had walked down the same path that an eczema sufferer walks down. Christina has went so far in her quest for a cure as to become a full time naturapthic eczema researcher. Impressive. I myself already have had great success battling eczema by simply eliminating certain foods and adding other foods and supplements along with other healthy lifestyle choices and changes, so I KNEW that Christina had found real answers to a real problem, and has gone through great lengths to share them. In fact, for a time, this book was available for free on her website. (It may still be) If that doesn't convince a person on Christina's sincerity, I don't believe anything will! Although the author may make suggestions, she doesn't try to sell you anything, a refreshing change. So, if your looking for answers for an eczema problem, I don't think you need to go any further.

I wish this book came out years ago., November 13, 2008
Christina Nevada is a Godsend. She gets down to the many factors that cause eczema while keeping the average lay person in mind when describing the science behind it all. She teaches you how to modify and supplement your diet and lifestyle to fight eczema from the inside AND out. We've never had so many choices for treatment.
There is A LOT of information to take in. Try not to feel overwhelmed. You get more out of it each time you read it.

Too Confusing to be Helpful, October 9, 2009
While I appreciate what the author went through to find the answers she needed to effect a cure for her eczema, I found this book too scattered, disorganized and confusing to get much help from it.
Some of the recommendations seemed difficult, such as two pairs of cotton pajamas,
or going to bed with an ice pack on the place that is itching. Others seemed incomplete, like the advice on page 142 to soak vegetables in vinegar, where she adds "There are other things you can buy to clean them as well." So, what are they?
I felt the role of the liver, and leaky gut syndrome was given far too little attention. It may be the kind of eczema she had, but for many, the causes are internal.
I have read the whole book, most of it with a mounting sense of disappointment and frustration. Perhaps a second perusal will reveal hidden gems, but I'm not very hopeful.
