I've read a number of books on healing through touch and have had experience both as a client and a practitioner. Bradford's work is an excellent combination of theory, anecdote, and method. He writes with a clarity that makes his material easily understandable for the beginner and with a depth that the experienced healer will find enlightening. This is a book I would not be without. I refer to it often for new insights on both self-healing and for work with clients.

"The Healing Energy of Your Hands", in my experience, is an attempt to be a complete "how to" of energetic healing. And it deserves credit for a valiant effort.

But there are much better books out there that try, and succeed. As a "basics", book, I wouldn't discard it. But then again, in retrospect, I wouldn't buy it either, since there are better books to be had on the subject. A much better book is: "Your Hands Can Heal You", by Stephen Co. & Eric Robbins.

I am a Reiki Master and as such am always looking for books about healing and energy. This book has been a real treat for me. I found Michael Bradford to be an excellent author who is able to speak to each person through his words. This book is written in a down to earth manner that anyone can understand. I am using some of his techniques for healing already. I am so glad I found this book. :-)

There are books which pretend to be a reference point, and there are those which not only are, but also exceed readers' expectations. These are some of those! Read them twice and heal the universe. A library worth having for every healer.

Healing Energy of Your Hands is an excellent book. Covers beginning and advanced concepts, distance healing and more. Highly recommended.

Great story and experiences. I am a healer and I learned a lot from this book. It is not complicated like other books like it. Not boring, but a great read.

This is a great book to read on this subject, it is an easy read, it provides so much fascinating information, you've turned 50 pages before you realize it. Wish I could give it 6 stars instead of 5.

An excellent , easy step by step journey into healing, it talks on energy, positive and negative, Aura's, Chakra's balancing, contains step by step instructions, and diagrams on energy flow, I found it to be an easy read and anyone can do it . cover is different on the 1993/94 edition. I found this book to be easy to read and very informative with some easy to follow diagrams.

I thought this book would be just about Reiki. But to my surprise it was about other types of Healing. I enjoyed this book so much I read it in one day. There were a few times my stomach groweled and i ignored it Smile. .This book used every day words that were easy to understand not medical terminology.
