I thoroughly enjoyed "Healing with the Fairies!" After reading this book, I took a long walk with my daughter, hugging trees, smelling flowers, and just enjoying the outdoors! Doreen is right - the fairies are out there! We just need to listen to them! Doreen even incorporates wonderful personal stories in the book, which makes it even more special!

I bought this hoping to supplement my deck of Healing with The Fairies Oracle cards, which I really like. I had hoped to get more insight into the basis for the cards, what they were about, why they said what they said. This book did include information on contacting fairies, and where to find them, but I felt that the majority of the book was devoted to Doreen's quest for a fulfilling relationship! Her story was interesting and inspirational, but I don't think the amount of time spent on it was appropriate, given the title of the book.

That said, this was by no means a bad book, and I did learn a thing or two. Mostly to warn the fairies when you are going to mow the lawn!

Like a lot of others that reviewed this book, I thought that I would learn about the faeries and how to see them. It was mostly about the author's life, and although well-written, some parts were just unbelieveable. I mostly enjoyed the book up until she starts weeping because a leprachaun yelled at her because her husband mowed down mushrooms in their lawn.

I am a believer of the faery realm and I got this book hoping to gain some insight. However, this book left me feeling a little confused and wondering if the author is a bit schizophrenic.

If you are looking for a "facts" book that is directly & only about fairies, then this book may not be for you. BUT if you wish to EXPERIENCE the fairies, then by all means, read it! I have ready many, many spiritual books over the years but I have never gotten out of them what I get from Doreen Virtues books! I have learned much from others but Dr. Virtue's books are the only ones that have truly affected my life. I have read three of her books now and each one has been telling the story of HER experiences rather than just explaining "how things work". Doreen tells HER stories which enables you to EXPERIENCE, if only second hand at first, such things as, in this instance, fairies. It is not only a personal perspective FROM her, but her style of writing enables it to becomes a more personal experience for YOU. It creates a connection that I don't believe you would experience if she had written any other way. If you simply want to READ "facts" about fairies, look elsewhere. If you want to EXPERIENCE fairies, this is your book!!!

Doreen Virtue has opened my eyes to a whole new world! The book is well written, open, honest and very informative. It gives people who haven't had these kinds of experiences hope that they can also experience the fairy realm.

I did not mind that the book gave an inside look at the author's life and experiences. This only makes it more real and believeable. The help she gets from fairies and angels to manifest her soulmate is very encouraging!

I thoroughly enjoyed the book and felt the author did an excellent job of describing her introduction to the world of fairies and their message to humans! Thanks Doreen for having the courage to speak out on the subject of fairies!

Come and learn about the Fairies! Dr. Virtue provides detailed information about her experiences with the magnificent Fairy Realm, and discusses how you can have direct experiences with the Fairies as well. I am a professional Angel & Spiritual Healer/Communicator, and the Angels have already had me start recommending this book to my clients. Doreen relays vitally important messages the Elementals have given her regarding the health and welfare of our planet, and how you can intervene to save Mother Earth. Also, Doreen reveals the step-by-step guidance she received from the Fairies on how to manifest a healing in any area of your life. In addition, Doreen details her personal experiences of how the Elemental kingdom helped her to overcome relationship difficulties. This is extremely helpful information for people seeking to heal their love life, as it contains steps we can all use to manifest a healthy, healed soulmate relationship.

This book will be particularly enjoyable if you have already connected with Doreen though her books, tapes, or workshops. She generously gives us an inside glimpse into her personal life, so that other Lightworkers may learn and benefit from her healing experiences with the Fairies. Her stories and experiences are deeply inspirational, and the book is thoroughly engrossing. I highly recommend it, and so do the Fairies & Angels!

When I bought this book I htought it would tell me ways to use the Fairie Oracle cards, but it didn't. It was a book about how the fairies affected her life. A nice book but not my type of read.

This is a well written book about Doreens encounters with fairies and how they have helped her in her life. I did not think it was an instructional book. It was however an insightful, enchanting read.

This book felt more like a long-winded promotion of veganism and animal rights than an exploration of the fairy world. While there were some tidbits of solid iformation, they were difficult to pick out. However, if you're looking for a spiritual autobiography of the author, this is the book you want.

Don't waste your time or money on this book. I purchased the angel oracle cards by Ms. Virtue. They are a beautiful oracle deck and I recommend the cards. HOWEVER, this book is like reading a diary of her personal life which is not what I cared to know. I was put off by her constant mention of the other books that she's written throughout this book. This book feels to be written in a rambling, "crank out another book" style. I did finish reading it because I wanted to find the reward, but was left flat and upset that I wasted so much time.

I completely believe in fairies and angels...because I've witnessed. But this book wasn't helpful at all, unless you want to know about the author's personal life. Hope this review will save your time. I agree with the reviewer from NC.
