Editorial Reviews

Review

'It is with pride and a certain humility that I commend this book to its readers, for if anything reflects the human spirit and the capacity to overcome appalling adversity and loss, this chronicle of painstaking and creative endeavour will be an illustration and a guide...an inspiring and profound project best understood through the case studies which are contained in the book.' Helen Bamber, Director of the Medical Foundation for the Care of Victims of Torture
