This is an excellent book. I was amazed by the number of different crystals and gemstones discussed (over 200!). I got it from the library and thought it was so great that I bought my own copy! A channeled book with lots of positive and helpful healing information. Using Diane Stein's book as inspiration, I have been carrying crystals everyday and have found them immeasurably reassuring and helpful. I highly recommend it for anyone interested in the diverse healing energies of crystals.

I bought this book a year ago. I have several books about healing with crystals and this is the one I refer to most often. Diane Stein includes the healing properties of many uncommon stones which other books leave out. Her descriptions of each stone are short, concise and complete. A wonderful reference.... I use it all the time! I also appreciate the fact that much of the information is channeled.

I really love this book for a concise, not-overwhelming book of healing properties of stones. The biggest downfall is that there are no pictures, which is a big disappointment. But if I'm shopping for crystals there is usually a picture, so you can look for the stones whose properties you would like to have, then go out and buy it.

I would love to see an updated version of this with more than 200 stones in it.

I love this book because the writing style of the author is very down-to-earth, and she teaches about chakras, and healing the body as well as how to find, charge and dedicate stones. I think it's the perfect book for anyone who's interested in crystals.

I found a lot of great information on crystals, gemstones, and charkas. It contains more information in one place for the healers than any book I have read so far.

Diane Stein has gone deeper lately into healing, spirituality, and ascesion. I have always loved her Goddess spirituality books, but these are even better! Now when I shop for stones I can get more appropriate stones for healing, etc. Even though the book is small, it is worth its weight in gold!

I have a huge collection of Crystal Healing books in my home library. This one is a recent addition. Ms. Stein has written many book on healing energy and I do own a few Reiki books by her. This book is well written in an easy to understand language. This author writes from her personal experience and knowledge. I am happy to own this book and have re- read it several times.

I loved this book from the moment I picked it up. It is easy and straight forward. This book is my bible to healing with gemstones and crystals.

When I first got the book I read through each and every healing crystal description and marked-up who I thought could use some of the gemstones, I also underlined what I thought was the most important parts of the description to me, so now when I'm looking up something I can quickly scan through.

It taught me more about chakras than I previously knew and opened up a whole new world for me and got me started down the path of doing crystal healings myself. I previously used laying-on-hands but the crystals just intensify it more.

This book was actually sent to me by mistake. I ordered Stein's book on gem elixirs in order to pass it around during a workshop on the same topic.

The book is very concise and easy-to-use. It does cover a couple hundred stones, including a couple that are less common. However, beyond that, the scope of the book is quite limited. Stein has a love for the healing properties of minerals, but this book just does not convey all of what it could.

Good discussion of the spiritual aspect of crystal and gemstone work. Just the subject material I was hoping to find.
