Leaves you uncertain what it is you are supposed to heal.
This book confused me. Though I agree with the fact that we indeed do have a hidden self, I was uncertain what Barara Shlemon was intending for us to heal. There are some good ideas here and a modicum of depth and intrigue for the human soul, but not enough to constitute a well researched book.

Short, practical spiritual exercises follow each chapter. I use this book in counseling women who have experienced various types of abuse, and they have found it extremely helpful.
