Wonderful book on energy healing for horses. Great diagrams and pictures. Clear directions presented on how to give a healing treatment. A number of varied case studies are included which I really found helpful. Whether you are a Reiki Practitioner or Spiritual Healer who loves animals, you will benefit from reading this book and having it as part of your Healing library.

Margrit has done an excellent job! It is easily the best energy healing book I have ever read.
She is able to give some very clear, practical tips. After reading her book one would be able to go out and start doing this work with their horse. Even if they had never done it before.
It is the type of book you can read over and over, and get something new out of it every time!

Margrit Coates has a gentle, yet thorough way of presenting her discussion on healing for horses. A gifted, natural healer from childhood, Coates was drawn to work with horses long before she had the means to do so. Her career in PR for a firm involved in equestrian products brought her into contact with many horses. Though she was successful in her work, and the primary wage earner in the family, she elected to study and practice healing and transitioned into this as her major occupation.

Coates found that she could mentally communicate with horses, who told her of their physical and emotional traumas and pains. She was able to relieve many of them through healing, with rapid - often immediate - changes in behaviours to validate that healing was effective.

Her descriptions and explanations of her healings are helpful in understanding healing as a treatment in general.

This book is replete with explanations of various forms of healing, equine problems which have responded to healing, and further CAM approaches (acupuncture, craniosacral therapy) that can also be used for healing.

What I found most interesting in this book are Coates' un-hyped descriptions of spiritual moments when she looked into particular horses' eyes and found herself transported into a timeless dimension.

This book is attractive as well as informative, a pleasure to hold in one's hands.

Through this well-written book Margrit Coates brings healing work to horse and animal lovers of all ages and experience. She clearly explains healing with words, illustrations, and case studies. The reader comes away with practical knowledge and guidance on how to bring healing to animals. Using the information in Margrit's book has helped horses overcome trailer issues, calm them, and increase overall health and vigor. Each person can be a conduit for healing, and Margrit shows us how to start. I eagerly await her new book coming this June (2003) - Hands-On Healing for Pets, as well as her return visit to Oregon this September, 2003.

This book is an excellent guide to "Hands On Healing" for horses. It is a very practical and compassionate book. It will give you the confidence to give safe and effective healings to your horse. I recommend it for both beginning and advanced healers.

Margrit Coates brings us this very special book written not by her hands but by her heart. Her passion for healing horses and humans alike shines from each page, each story, and each experience she shares with her readers. This book is a gift for those who truly love horses since it gives us permission to release the healing energy we all possess. A guide book to help us then channel that energy to best benefit our equine partners.

Ms. Coates' book is an eminently practical guide for those who want to use healing energy to help their horses. At the same time, it will help strengthen your own bond with your horses. She also tells instructive stories that inspire and delight horse lovers as well as illustrate the how-to's of healing.

Margrit Coats is first class --a must read if you love your horse and want to get even closer! I also recommend her book Hands on Healing for Pets! Both are well written and easy to understand...A must have for anyone especially a student of Energy Healing.

This book is useful, easy to read and understand. It is written in clear prose, with a nice flow, and sense of humor. Just the right amount of pictures and explanations. Thanks for the good work.

A beautifully written book that is easy to read and understand. The stories are moving, and the directions for beginning healing yourself on your own horse, are clear and concise with wonderful diagrams and pictures to further explain how to go about it. I have tried some of the techniques with my elderly horse who recently lost his best horse buddy, and have seen definite results. It is a book worth reading.
