If anything in your life could use a little healing, Healing Journey will prove invaluable to you. This is not the usual self-help book that tells you what is wrong with you and how to fix it. No, this is a book written in partnership with the reader, gently opening new doors of understanding and offering many opportunities for the reader to develop new tools to use in healing anything that needs healing, including relationships, business affairs as well as physical and mental health.

The message is clearly and interestingly presented. At the end of each chapter, the reader is offered several provocative questions to reflect upon which can be life transforming. This is a reader-friendly book filled with insights that can change your life.

I often decide whether to read a book by the author's introduction or opening comments. The Preface in this book captured my attention as a reader immediately. I was intrigued and involved from the beginning to the end because although this was a book about the author's journey . . . it soon became my journey. The author's approach is warm, inviting and open -- and yet he sets readers up to learn and discover at their own pace, about themselves. The lessons are practical -- they lingered in my mind after I put the book down. The principles behind the story began to show up in my daily life. I recommend Healing Journey for anyone who wants to explore the deeper meaning of life in a practical way -- and come away with "tools" for making the changes they want to make in their own life. Thank you, John -- this book is a gift to the world in a time when we are more aware than ever of our need for personal healing. Thank you for the reminder that all healing is personal.

Helaing Journey was given to me at a time when I needed some guidance and the book did just what I wanted. It helped me to see the simplicity of moving through any tough time in life. John presents in an easy to follow format and he keeps everything simple and easy to understand. John took me by the hand and led me into a beautiful healing journey. Written in a very simple, easy to follow, down-to-earth style, Dr. Prieskorn has given us an easy to follow guide to finding one's purpose in life. He masterfully shares with his readers his own spiritual quest and search for self. During that process Dr. Prieskorn takes us by the hand and leads us through the maze we call life using simple self-discovery exercises that anyone can follow.

It provides an outline with step-by-step guidance that helps to simplify the process of healing our relationships with God, self and others. Through personal example and directed exercises, it provides the where- withal to advance one's individual progress towards healing. I felt both affirmed and comfortably challenged. Not only did it restore a sense of balance to my life, but it invited me to accept the belief that the path I take can even become a journey of joy. The choice was mine with a little help from John Prieskorn.
