beautiful music, October 12, 2010
Beautiful music always has a wonderful effect on the listener. This is beautiful music that is very well executed. The musician is classically trained and is able to touch subtle notes that are stirring. I cannot attest to the idea that this is actually "healing" music in the sense that it would heal disease. In ancient times, music was written to include very subtle notes called srutis that produced specific effects in the listener. The ancient music could heal sickness - even specific diseases, stop a fight between two people or incite a riot. I enjoyed this piece very much but don't know that it contains srutis for healing.
