This is an excellent resource for those interested in the Seminole medicine/healing traditions. In fact, it was recommended by tribal members. Alice Micco Snow was a great and respected Seminole healer. It is fortunate that she has shared her knowledge and experience, and it is most fortunate for Ms. Stans that she was able to be involved in this sharing.

What a wonderful book. Besides preserving healing knowledge for future generations this book also gives insight into Seminole history and culture.
I stumbled on this book at my library and then ordered one for my personal library. What a treasure. I hope I can meet Alice Micco Snow someday soon and have her sign my copy. |
