The opposite of forgiveness is bitterness and anger. Those who anger us control us, and this book offers freedom from that control. Forgiveness clears the heart of anger, vengance, bitterness and hatred - it offers a very liberating, and renewing, experience. Pastor Pritchard touches every heartstring with healing, hope and comfort. I bought the book to share with someone after reading(I don't like to recommend an unknown), and it not only confirmed what I'd thought I already knew about forgiving others, it brought new horizons on what we expect from others who need to forgive us, and how to receive that forgiveness without the expectations. If you or someone you know has a dysfunctional relationship that needs healing or you would like to break the chains of anger, bitterness or an unforgiving spirit this is the perfect tool.

We read and discussed this book in my Bible study group. Describing what forgiveness is and what it is not, the book helped several of us to forgive others who had wronged us. I recommend it highly for individual or group reading and study.
