This adorable little book is an illustrated guide to working with seashells in the same context as crystals and gemstones for healing. It contains inspiring quotes, experiences from the author's life journey, and the same passion and compassion as Chocron's other works. This is, by far, her most illustrated volume to date.

I would really love to give this innovative guide more than three stars. The freshness and ingenuity of the topic certainly deserve it. I felt that the book was lacking in a couple of areas, though. The photographs really could have used more captions; it wasn't until the very end that any of the illustrated shells were actually labeled. I also felt as if I was wanting more actual information about the energies of the seashells themselves. While brevity and simplicity have always been strong points in Daya's books, I feel that this one is just too basic. I would love to see this topic grow and evolve into something new and exciting.

Overall, I still recommend this to someone who loves the sea, collecting shells, or even to crystal lovers who want something different for their library.

This is a great book, with lots of useful information on how to use shells for healing.
