This is an excellent book on sound healing. Dr. Gaynor is an oncologist who incorporates various music and sound healing and chanting practices into his cancer treatments with his patients. The book is clear, readable, and informative with many techniques easily practiced by the reader. The techniques are good for healing or for preventive health practices and can be added to other health programs such as massage or yoga or Reiki. They can be used for serious or life-threatening diseases in addition to any regular medical procedures, drugs, chemotherapy, radiation, etc. They can decrease stress associated with treatment and also show how vibration can assist cellular healing in any situation.

I bought this book after reading about it in the New York Times on Thanksgiving. I can understand through the amazing stories and techniques that the power of sound can be used every second of every day. Dr. Gaynor's book changed my life.

Written by an M.D., here is a wonderful example of how conventional medicine can be greatly enhanced and complemented by other modalities : and this specifically is a wonderful example of the healing power of sound and music.

The book is clearly written. However, it is a bit laborious to get into the book. The book is well bound and printed well. It came quickly.

Dr. Gaynor's work is a blessing and very effective in aiding those who seek healing. A MUST read!
