More About the Author

I'm a full time mom, wife, sister, & friend. Throw in a little housework, an irritating lapdog, the need to watch every episode of Forensic Files & I guess you could call me a busy woman. There are just not enough hours in the day. My escape is writing. I hope you enjoy reading my stories as much as I enjoy writing them.

The vintage photo is of my mom & was taken in the mid 40's. I think she looks like a movie star. She was my inspiration to write. Don't let any of the pictures of me fool you - Photoshop is an amazing thing.

I enjoyed this book. It was a quick read for me as I couldn't put it down. I liked the way Jenna portrayed Tracy as a somewhat prickly person but just under the surface lurked a very vunerable woman just aching to be loved and cherished. The fact that the handsome Dr Nelson didn't give up trying to find that vunerable side and show her that she deserved to be loved and cherished made this romance all the sweeter.

I don't normally read novellas because I didn't feel there was enough time for character development. I bought this one because of forum posts by the author and the price was definitely right.

What a surprise! I immediately understood the heroine, Tracey, her life, her feelings. Not only that, it was a fully developed story.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It's a great rainy day or beach read or anytime you just want to curl up with a good book for a couple of hours.

This book really captures the small town atmosphere...where everyone in town is connected...and fast to gossip. It touches on a serious subject matter, but in a light hearted way. Healing Touch is an easy read, very entertaining, the story kept me engaged and I didn't want it to end. I look forward to more books from this author!

What a truly delightful story; easy to read, rich characters, and just enough intrigue to keep you wanting to read more. I wish Ms. Anderson had a couple of full length novels to read. Her storytelling was good, writing was good, she built the characters as good as she could for a short story, and you really felt as if you knew them. That was quite a feat to accomplish for this short read.

Cherryville, single slightly "older" mom, dashing, handsome big city doctor...well, you just have to read the story. I wasn't sure I'd like this short a read, but it was delightful, and I really wish it continued, or that it had been several hundred pages in length.

The story is one that happens every day in cities across the U.S., but the way it was written really puts you in the middle of the storyline, and you end up rooting for the doctor (depending on which side you're on, of course), but I was rooting for him, while empathizing with her feelings on the age difference, though it wasn't that many years.

Take the time to read this short story; I think you'll enjoy it, and it was a lovely break from some of the more intense reading we all tend to do when we're addicted to our Kindles. Thank you for taking the time to read my review.

I thoroughly enjoyed this work. Coming from a small town myself, I quickly recognized many of the characters painted in the community, and found myself giggling as I noticed how close to reality their descriptions really were.

The main character was depicted very well. As someone who has been hurt by love in the past, I was able to identify with her angst. The work contains just the right amount of romantic tension, and I was rooting for the good doctor all the way.

The book has a very satisfying ending.

This is a short book, but I quite enjoyed having something I was able to finish in one afternoon. The quick pace moved things along so well that I didn't realize I was nearing the end until I was there.

Overall, I'm very pleased with this book. A great read for a quiet afternoon, and a truly wonderful story. I will look for more from this author.

Healing Touch by Jenna Anderson is a cute, engaging, and touching love story about a woman who really doesn't want to fall in love. The characters are quite likable. Tracy is a smart, sassy woman that's been burned. Jeremy is the young, good-looking and very persistent doctor that wants to get to know her better. The little boy, Cody, is written perfectly. He's adorable, and acts and talks like a real toddler should. Overall, it's a very enjoyable, if short, read that I'd highly recommend.

Anderson's novel completely captures what it's like to live and love in a small town where everyone knows everyone else's business. In as much as there is a frustration to living in such an environment, the author also happened to capture the endearing charms of it as well, with all the homecoming events and football games. She really did a nice job balancing the details. I really liked the characters and enjoyed spending time in this fictious world.

I really liked reading this short story. Even though it's so short it doesn't feel rushed, which I totally despise in a book. For some reason I got the impression that the author was taking her time writing it, which I liked. It's really cute and I recomend it 100%. =)
