About the Author
The editor, Mason A. Clark, is a physicist and was a manager of device development in the semiconductor industry. A graduate of the electrical engineering and physics departments of Northwestern University, he was a supervisor of transistor development at the Bell telephone Laboratories, the manager of semiconductor product development for subsidiary companies of the Thompson Ramo Woolridge and Hewlett-Packard corporations, a Vice President of Microwave Associates West, and in semi-retirement a local sales manager for the Micromanipulator Company.

Correction on one letter,

A reviewer has correctly pointed out a serious one-letter error on the back cover. Dr. Quimby was never concerned with "wealth" but with "health". No doubt this one-letter error on the back cover will be corrected in any future edition and is the only error in the book's presentation of Quimby's words. A concordance is provided in the book, giving the source of all the words in the body of the book. The author apologizes for this serious one-word error.

Quimby is probably one of the most influential voices of the 19th Century, and also probably one of the most unknown.
His teaching influenced an incredible number of people. This book is very well priced, and probably quite suitable to anyone who wanted to find out something about the man and his philosophy. However, the formatting is so peculiar that it is difficult to know when the material is Quimby's or the editor's. There is also a fair amount of repetition, but I suspect that this is the nature of the Quimby material.
