No new ideas, simply restates what has been said and pays very little attention to sequestration effects. The writer is a Brookings guy who is used to getting paid for restating what he hears from others. Not worth the money for 80 page pamplet.

I read this for a forum with Mr. O'Hanlon in grad school and I enjoyed it. It's very informative and easy to read - not at all overwhelming. There are also a lot of graphs and tables if you prefer visuals.

This book is a pro-war manifesto by an American who has a history of supporting US Hegemony. O'Hanlon supported National Missile Defense (NMD) in one previous book--- which actually an aggressive system for war-making. The whole Pentagon is a corrupt mess-- with bad bookkeeping. This book, like O'Hanlon's Other books, is crap, crap, crap!!! Don't waste your money on this book.!!!!
