For some reason, I was expecting a soft cover or hard cover with lots of pictures; was very disappointed that it was a paperback with no pics that I could see readily when flipping through. The cover looks beautiful in the ad, and even though the book might be full of lots of helpful information, I'm not interested in reading it at this time. Will probably try to resell...

This is my favorite book on choosing the healthiest foods to eat. Susan discusses 50 of the most important health-promoting foods for the entire family and how to incorporate them into our meals. I refer to scrumptious smoothie recipes in this book often, too, and have received tremendous value from her other holistic lifestyle tips incorporated in this book on how to simplify life, champion high self-esteem, sleep like a baby, and disease-proof my body. It's part of a 3-book healthy eating and living set published by Hay House that I got at a discount on Susan's website SusanSmithJones.com. While it stands on it's own as a practical holistic health book, the 3-book set is fantastic -- a must-read set if you want to glow with radiant health and youthful vitality in mind, body and spirit.

Health Bliss -- This is an amazing book that I heard Susan talk about on the radio show Coast to Coast with host George Noory. It's part of Susan's 3-book set published by Hay House that I keep in my kitchen to refer to often. I learned about some of the healthiest foods to eat and also about other lifestyle choices that have made a big difference in my life like how to sleep like a baby, feel more energetic and positive, and have more mental focus and concentration. I have given away as gifts more than 25 copies of this book over the past year and everyone loves it and appreciates Susan's healthy recipes. I also enjoy the spectacular 2-color design. It's a winner and so is her website SusanSmithJones.com.

This book is part of a 3-book set published by Hay House. While it stands well on its own if you only want one book, the set of 3 books is spectacular. I've given over 20 of these sets away as gifts and everyone loves them. Health Bliss has a beautiful 2-color design with butterflies, hummingbirds, and dragonflies, and it's very easy to read and understand. The author, Susan Smith Jones, covers in detail the healthiest foods to eat and, along the way, provides her impressive culinary tips on buying, using and storing these foods, herbs, and spices and how to use each to help heal your body. But there's so much more to this motivating and practical book than healthy food information. It's a healthy living manual extraordinaire. She also explains how a little bit of exercise can go a long way, reveals the importance of silence and solitude, and empowers you to make the changes that will help you look and feel younger and more energetic than ever! Susan's 21-day approach recommended in this book will give you the motivation you need to take charge of your body, your health, and your life--physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. As a result of perusing Health Bliss many times and referring to it often, I have lost all of my extra weight, have much more energy, and in just 30 days look years younger (as all my friends tell me). A Kid's Review
Health Bliss has lots of information to improve my choice of foods to make me healthier. I notice when I eat healthy foods recommended in this book, my breath is fresher, my energy level is higher, and I never need to go to the doctor except for checkups. I have lowered my cholesterol level from 240 to 149 by eating healthier foods.

Add romaine lettuce to your smoothies before you buy this book. If you like it, you will probably like the book. Author does a great deal of promoting her other books within the text. Also, ingredients for recipies are hard-to-find. However, the author suggests resources. Prepare to spend some money if you follow this plan. Oh! She does not reccomend red meat. BIG DISAPPOINTMENT.
