This book gives a good basic overview of the health care finance. Its best feature is that it is applied to health care only, so you don't have to go through other business models. I cannot see using it in the future though - if you are planning to manage your office/work on a budget/evaluate your organization from a financial stand point, this is not the book you will need.

I think this text is very good but it seems geared for someone with a stronger background in finances. I found even with the excellent way the text is layed out various steps were not explained and could have used an example of a Business Plan and the financial information to see the working of the plan.

The book does explain the basics well but they assume you may have had another type of finance class when it come to crunching numbers. This book was required for an online class I took and even the teacher was not impressed with this book. There needs to be more explanation and break down on how to perform calculations.

I wish they would have sent a tracking number, but it didn't really matter because I still got it in time! Thank you!

This is a good book. It is just what I needed for my class, and was very easy to find on Amazon

The book has many chapters but they are short, 5-8 pages. Being short did not reduce the amount of information that it gave, it was informative about what you needed to know. Shipping was great and the book arrived on time and in excellent shape.

I found this book extremely user friendly. I enjoyed the short chapters as it allowed me as a student, not to be overwhelmed by very long chapters. I felt that I retained what I read, and was able to use the exercises effectively. I feel the text is well written and; I wish all of my text books were as user friendly as this text.

Coming from a bed-side nursing perspective, beginning a class on finance in my Master's program was daunting. However with the purchase of this manual formatting spreadsheets and understanding financial terms have been easily accomplished. I would recommend this manual for any non-financial managers as well as any nurse seeking to learn more about health care finance. In the rapidly changing health care finance world today no nurse should be without the information contained in this manual! RBoltin, S.C.

This book is a very easy read, however gives very little detail. Just skims the top of a variety of topics.

I enjoyed the book coming in good condition. It was not torn or anything like that. So I thank you for shipping the book in mint condition. Thank you again.
