About the Author

Dr. Sharon R. Price is founder and director of Nutritional Direction, a clinic providing wellness counseling in Bedford, Texas. She earned a Doctorate in Physiology in Natural Health Science from Clayton College of Natural Health and completed requirements for the Certified Nutritionist program from American Health Science University (National Institute of Nutritional Education). Dr. Price is also a certified Bioenergetic Practitioner focusing on health as it relates to energy meridian pathways in the body.

Through her private practice she guides and directs patientsÂ’ healing from such issues as chronic fatigue, depression, fibromyalgia, weight loss/gain, degenerative and auto-immune diseases, ADD/ADHD, hormonal imbalances, and digestive problems.

In addition to keynote presentations and media appearances, Dr. Price publishes a quarterly newsletter and is a contributing author to various publications.

This book is filled with so much information about why what you eat affects you the way it does. It was so eye-opening. There are recipes at the back for nutritional things like 'Cinnamon Muffins.' This isn't a stop eating everything that tastes good book - like some nutrition books are - this was full of useful information and resources to actually make a positive lifestyle change that I can live with and stick to!

Having written any number of books on health I fully agree with this book. We really are the end product of what we ingest into our system. Eat bad and you'll feel bad, and worse your health will deteriorate. Eat well and you'll feel well, and best of all in a relatively short time your health will improve, dramatically. This book shows in simple terms what steps you have to take to live your best potential life. You don't have to be a nutritionist or hire one to lead you toyou best possible health. With thsi book you'll find your own way.
