5.0 out of 5 stars Review of Health Care Economics, September 9, 2008
This review is from: Health Care Economics (Delmar Series in Health Services Administration) (Hardcover)
I found the book to be very good. Throughout it emphasizes an economic approach to what is occurring in health care and, what I particularly like, is the author's use of economic figures to illustrate the economic theory. The book covers a lot of health care topics and it's well written. I recommend it. The other students in the class also liked the book.

1.0 out of 5 stars Boring and too technical, August 14, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Health Care Economics (Delmar Series in Health Services Administration) (Hardcover)
While I know textbooks aren't known for being exciting or anything like that, others have certainly hit the mark where this one has failed. The explanations of the matters at hand where confusing and a little contrite as well. I felt there was a lack of objectivity for some of the information which is bizarre it being a text book. Presumably you'll need to buy it anyway, but get ready for a bore.

1.0 out of 5 stars Textbook: Health Care Economics, May 8, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Health Care Economics (Delmar Series in Health Services Administration) (Hardcover)
The book is fine, but you cancelled my order saying it was out of stock, after you said you were going to ship it. I don't know why you are asking me to review it. I ended up ordering it from Barnes & Noble.
