Product Description

Help relieve tension and reduce spinal compression by simply sitting down and lying back in the Pro Inversion Chair. While treatment of back pain can range from surgery or massage to stretching and exercising of the superficial muscles of the erector spinal group, deep spinal muscle muscles offer the best long-term treatment. These muscles extend along the spine from the neck to the sacrum, and work to hold the vertebrae and disks in place, as well as flexing the spine.Routine use of the Pro Inversion Chair will accomplish the following:Decrease spinal compression created by the daily tasks of walking, running, standing and sitting Decrease lumbar curvature created by poor posture and/or excessive weight Decrease disc and nerve root pressure due to spinal compression which causes pinching of associated nerve endings running along the spinal column Relieve cervical tension and associated headaches: Pinching nerves due to compression in the cervical area of the spine leads to headaches, while decompression and increased blood circulation to the area helps to relieve these headaches Relieve muscle spasms: Stretching the spinal muscles will cause the muscles to relax Correct vertebrae alignment: The Inversion Chair uses natural traction via gravity Durable foam-covered wood backboard and steel frame. Manual inversion adjustment from the seated position. Features a 70-degree inversion range. Locking ankle bracket and locking frame hinges. Contoured handles for added comfort and a lap belt. Assembled product is 55-lbs with a 300-lb weight capacity. User height range of 4 feet 8 inches to 6 feet 6 inches. Measures 41L x 27W x 54H inches.

I originally ordered the Stamina Deluxe Seated Inversion Therapy Table, a more expensive product. It was damaged in shipping and Amazon was out of stock, so I decided to try this chair.

I am glad the first chair was damaged. This chair is easy to assemble, easy to use and easy to take apart if you need to move. It is heavy duty and high quality.

My wife has scoliosis. She is a small woman, tiny by today's standards. She uses this chair all by herself for relief and loves it.

The chair is very helpful for my back and seems very sturdy. I like that you are supported by your knees instead of hanging from your ankles like you do on other inversion tables/chairs. It seems like a good value for a reasonable amount of money. It is a little tricky getting onto and off of it but it is possible for one person to mount it alone. I wish that adjusting the angle of inversion was a little easier. It has a strap that you have to lengthen or shorten and it is tricky getting the exact angle you want. If you have more than one person using the chair the strap is a hassle to change. We ended up adding an extra hook on a piece of chain. For a lesser angle you hook the strap directly to the chair. For a greater angle you hook the strap into the the chain instead and then attach the second hook to the chair.
The other part that bothered me was problems with the instructions. One of the steps was out of order and other parts weren't too clear. Do not screw on the handles before you put the protective hoods over the brackets they attach to otherwise you will have to unscrew the handles again to put the hoods on. Also, be careful how you attach the main seat to the frame. There is a stop bar on the back of the frame that can interfere with the rotation of the chair if you don't do it right. Check the rotation of the chair before putting any screws in the pivot bracket.

When I had an inversion table, my spine would feel so much better when I used it, but not my ankles, especially with an old injury. Those relatively rare occasions I overcame the dread of the ankle pain to actually get on it, I spent so much energy stiffening my ankles, and sort of holding my lower back in that unnatural curve, I never stayed on the table very long, and it was just overall an unpleasant experience.

This inversion chair just makes me happy. All that muscle tension and mental tension doesn't happen here. It gets right down to the business of letting the spine stretch (and the internal organs go back a little North out of the pits they've been settling in...)

I quickly found that the knee-holding assembly is not at all necessary, at least for me. Just strap on the seat belt and let 'er rip. I can move my legs around, and nothing is squeezing the circulation except where the seat belt is. I probably should put some cushioning there.

Folding -- now that I'm "full-timing" in an RV, this is very important. Especially with the knee assembly off, it's a simple matter to remove the back pad and fold the "A-frame" up almost flat.

My wife and I started to look for inversion chairs after a doctor of ours recommended them over the inversion tables. After receiving the chair I was amazed at how easy it was to assemble. It was probably the easiest and fastest straight from the box assembly I have ever had to deal with. Light weight and little effort needed to move from room to room if needed. The chair provides a good stretch without putting pressure or strain on the back. The only thing that I can complain about is that the chair should have a locking mechanism when in the seated position so entering and exiting the chair was not so awkward.

This product is extremely sturdy, was relatively easy to put together, and has immensely reduced my crippling back pain. I no longer need to go to the chiropractor between using this inversion chair and doing pilates. This was one of the best things I purchased to improve my health and has saved me so much money in chiropractic adjustments and pain.

I just wanted to leave some feedback, something I don't do. But, I am so impressed with this product and how much it has helped me, I must. I have had severe back pain, had 3 epidurals, and was a candidate for surgery (probably still am), I have 2 herniated disks L3-L4, L4-L5 and ruptured Disk L5-S1. Lots of Pain, limited movement, using Ice at work just to make it through the day. Was told to try this by a friend in Seattle (thanks Kev!) and so far so good, I feel great, better than I was. and just with 10 minutes in the morning. Assembly was fast, and very easy.

I tried an inversion table a few years ago and didn't like the feeling of my ankles being pulled out of their sockets. I was so happy to see that an inversion CHAIR existed! I ordered it and I am THRILLED! I use it every day, twice a day. It has really helped relieve much of my pain.
It was delivered to my door the day after I ordered it. :)
The only thing that was a small problem was that the directions had me put together the whole thing and then had me take apart part of it to put covers on. Not a big deal though.
I recommend this to anyone who suffers from back pain.
