The chair is very helpful for my back and seems very sturdy. I like that you are supported by your knees instead of hanging from your ankles like you do on other inversion tables/chairs. It seems like a good value for a reasonable amount of money. It is a little tricky getting onto and off of it but it is possible for one person to mount it alone. I wish that adjusting the angle of inversion was a little easier. It has a strap that you have to lengthen or shorten and it is tricky getting the exact angle you want. If you have more than one person using the chair the strap is a hassle to change. We ended up adding an extra hook on a piece of chain. For a lesser angle you hook the strap directly to the chair. For a greater angle you hook the strap into the the chain instead and then attach the second hook to the chair.
The other part that bothered me was problems with the instructions. One of the steps was out of order and other parts weren't too clear. Do not screw on the handles before you put the protective hoods over the brackets they attach to otherwise you will have to unscrew the handles again to put the hoods on. Also, be careful how you attach the main seat to the frame. There is a stop bar on the back of the frame that can interfere with the rotation of the chair if you don't do it right. Check the rotation of the chair before putting any screws in the pivot bracket.

I originally ordered the Stamina Deluxe Seated Inversion Therapy Table, a more expensive product. It was damaged in shipping and Amazon was out of stock, so I decided to try this chair.

I am glad the first chair was damaged. This chair is easy to assemble, easy to use and easy to take apart if you need to move. It is heavy duty and high quality.

My wife has scoliosis. She is a small woman, tiny by today's standards. She uses this chair all by herself for relief and loves it.

I tried an inversion table a few years ago and didn't like the feeling of my ankles being pulled out of their sockets. I was so happy to see that an inversion CHAIR existed! I ordered it and I am THRILLED! I use it every day, twice a day. It has really helped relieve much of my pain.
It was delivered to my door the day after I ordered it. :)
The only thing that was a small problem was that the directions had me put together the whole thing and then had me take apart part of it to put covers on. Not a big deal though.
I recommend this to anyone who suffers from back pain.

I BOUGHT THIS CHAIR OVER THE INTERNET AS COULDN'T FIND ONE IN A SPORTING GOODS STORE SO I WAS TRYING IT COLD SO TO SPEAK - WITHOUT EVER HAVING SIT IN ONE. OVER ALL I LIKE THE CHAIR. AT FIRST IT WAS DIFFICULT TO GET ONTO UNTIL I FIGURED OUT YOU KIND OF ROLL ONTO IT WITH THE BARS THAT HOLD YOUR KNEES. THERE HAVE BEEN 2 TIMES MY NECK WAS SOMEWHAT OUT OF PLACE AND WHEN I LAID ON THE CHAIR IT POPPED IT BACK IN SO SAVED ME 2 TRIPS TO THE CHIROPRACTOR. I HAVE NOT INVERTED BUT JUST A LITTLE PAST HORIZONTAL WHICH FEELS FAR MORE THAN IT IS. I EXPECT TO BE ABLE TO INVERT FARTHER SOON. IT WOULD BE REALLY NICE IF THEY COULD ENGINEER A WAY TO CHANGE THE INVERSION PERCENTAGE WHILE YOU ARE IN THE CHAIR - BUT I EXPECT THAT WOULD COST US MORE ALSO.

I USED MY CHAIR ALMOST DAILY TO STRETCH MY BACK TO ALLOW MORE SPACE BETWEEN VERTEBRAE FOR THE DISCS TO REGENERATE. I HAVE HAD SURGERY ON ONE KNEE SO WHEN I TRIED TO USE IT AS DIRECTED - WITH MY ANKLES IN THE ANKLE HOLDER - IT HURT MY KNEE - SO I USE IT WITH MY ANKLES ON TOP OF THE ANKLE HOLDER. I DO BUCKLE THE SEAT BELT WHICH KEEPS ME IN PLACE AT THIS POINT OF INVERSION. I MAY HAVE TO LOCK IN MY ANKLES IF I INVERT FURTHER.
OVER ALL I WOULD BUY THIS CHAIR AGAIN. IT IS STURDY AND FUNCTIONS AS ADVERTIZED. MY HUSBAND IS MECHANICAL AND HE PUT IT TOGETHER WITH LITTLE EFFORT - WOULD HAVE BEEN DIFFERENT IF I HAD TO DO IT ALONE AS I AM "NOT" MECHANICALLY INCLINED.

I suffer from chronic pain from a fractured disk in my lower back, also herniated disk in lower back as well as spurs and degenerative disks in my neck. I knew I didn't want a inversion table because of the pressure on your knees and ankles. I was excited when I found a inversion chair and didn't know they made one. My back always felt better laying down in the sitting position so I thought this might help and also save a ton of money not going to decompression therapy.

The assembly took me 1 hour but it could have been described better with bigger pictures. With the last instruction putting on the covers over the handle area you actually need to remove the handles again. Also in the picture it displays it as sitting upright but it always leans back. I am 5'5 and my short legs make it difficult to sit way back in the chair. I wish it wasn't so tall which makes it difficult to climb up into. I eventually had to take off the top bar and cushions that go under your knee/leg area because it was so difficult to get into the chair and put pressure on that area because I have short legs. I do wish the design was better. I have just started using it so I can't comment if it helps or not but for the short amount of time I have used it I can say that it feels good to stretch.

My wife and I started to look for inversion chairs after a doctor of ours recommended them over the inversion tables. After receiving the chair I was amazed at how easy it was to assemble. It was probably the easiest and fastest straight from the box assembly I have ever had to deal with. Light weight and little effort needed to move from room to room if needed. The chair provides a good stretch without putting pressure or strain on the back. The only thing that I can complain about is that the chair should have a locking mechanism when in the seated position so entering and exiting the chair was not so awkward.

I love my new inversion chair. Reading the other reviews, prior to purchase and set up, helped tremedously. After 2 weeks my back is definitely feeling better! I can't lie flat on my back with my legs extended straight out so a chair, rather than a table, was the right choice for me. Very happy with my purchase!

Delivery was quick, just a few days. (Thank you Amazon), assembly was pretty quick, husband was able to get it together in about an hour. Very sturdy, built well. After figuring out how to get into and out of the chair without tipping back, it's a breezy to operate. After just a few short days of using the chair for about 8-10 minutes a day, I can feel a difference in my lower back. I love that I can go sit in this chair when I have pain and don't have to depend on a Chiropractor for a quick adjustment.
I like it and it's working for me.

I bought this after talking to my Neurologist for my neck problem. I also have bulged disc in 3 places. I was thinking about getting Inversion Table but when I saw Inversion Chair I like the idea of sitting down. I did some research and I liked this the best even though it is little more expensive than the others. It was very easy to put together (I did it in 30 minutes by myself). The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 stars is that for short people like myself (5' 3") my butt does not go all the way back if I use the ankle bar. I started out using it for 5 min. a day and it does relieve the pressure on my neck and back. I would would highly recommend this to anyone who has back and neck problem but be sure to talk to your doctor.

I just wanted to leave some feedback, something I don't do. But, I am so impressed with this product and how much it has helped me, I must. I have had severe back pain, had 3 epidurals, and was a candidate for surgery (probably still am), I have 2 herniated disks L3-L4, L4-L5 and ruptured Disk L5-S1. Lots of Pain, limited movement, using Ice at work just to make it through the day. Was told to try this by a friend in Seattle (thanks Kev!) and so far so good, I feel great, better than I was. and just with 10 minutes in the morning. Assembly was fast, and very easy.
