I gave this three stars as a purely neutral rating, since I figure comfort level is personal. But I wanted to write that, when I placed the order, I'd expected a far softer pillow than this. I've got other memory foam pillows and if anything, they can be a bit too soft. This is actually quite a hard pillow. It does "mush" in when pressed and come back into shape when released, but it requires a good deal of pressure. If you are looking for a firmer pillow than typical memory foam pillows this could be good. If you're looking for extra support that squishes to your contours easily, I think think this pillow would be too firm and/or feel like a hump of hard pillow behind you, which is how I experience it because my body weight doesn't press it without effort. I asked my husband to give it a try to see if it's more suited to a man. He said that his "back didn't' touch the chair" above it because the pillow was sticking out in the way. Its material is a thick faux-leather type. It has holes in it, for breathability I assume, though I doubt it would reduce sweating -- it's sort of like holes in a 1970's car seat would appear. I personally don't find it comfortable. It's for someone who wants a firm pillow.

I bought this to support my lower back while sitting in chairs, well it didn't provide very much support at all! Basically you lean against it and it pretty much goes flat? How is that supposed to support anything? I returned it back to Amazon.com...they were very quick with the refund...so thanks for that. Don't bother with this product!

I like this cushion. Since the driver seat in my truck has a hollow in the lumbar area, this provides the support I need for comfort.
