This product is a great boost to traditional pain relievers and also gives relief on its own when you want to avoid taking a tablet. In addition to providing great relief at the temples, I find this product particularly helpful when used at the base of the head for dull persistent ache. If you have chronic headaches and need to limit and/or vary your use of over-the-counter remedies, Migrastick is a great tool to have on hand. One caveat: you WILL smell strongly of peppermint!

Received this recently and I like it. I have used Head-On for a long time, and just saw this recently and had to try it. I like it. It isn't as strong as Head-On. This does not completely relieve a headache, nor does Head-On. However, when I do have a headache, or migraine, I still like to add this to my regimen because I find that it "distracts" me from the pain. I love the little dispenser this comes in...very sheik. I will carry this in my purse. One thing I haven't had the time to find out yet is if this makes my forehead flaky after using it. Head-On definitely does that to me, which is a big reason I don't like to use it anymore. Perhaps I will update this review if I find that it does that to me.

Unless you have a round the clock personal masseuse, this stick is the best thing to have when you get a headache. I've had migraines since I was 3, and I can attest to knowing what it's like when the drugs just aren't working, but you have to keep going with your day. This little rollerball has helped me get through it more than once. The combination of peppermint and lavender oils really does soothe the headache and the tension and lets you at least function when you can't find a nice, soft pillow. I've used it on many, many friends and family members, too, when they were under the weather, and they all came back to me wanting to know where they could get their own miracle stick. It's so handy that I never leave home without it, not even to go snowboarding!
