This book is a very good basic primer on why to fast, but there is no diet outlined at all, just why eating light is better than eating heavy is the main message and its a great message! For a more detailed approach I have Paul Bragg's Miracle of Fasting. THis book is very basic and straight forward, if a bit over-simplistic.
