I enjoyed this cereal very much for many years before it became impossible to find. It is a thick flake, a bit chewy, that stands up to milk well rather than disintegrating into mush. And the bluish/purple color is fun. First they changed the package size so that my usual store wouldn't carry it, and then it became impossible to find it anywhere, even from the company's website. Is blue corn suddenly scarce? I'd love an answer. I miss it. If you ever see it on your supermarket's shelves, grab it.

Great cereal! The flakes are thick (relatively coarse in texture) and so stay crunchy in milk. Blue corn imparts a wonderful flavor. If you like corn flakes, you are in for a treat.

My husband (who only USED TO eat oatmeal) likes these flakes so much that he will eat a bowl at night as well as for breakfast. The flakes stay crunchy in milk, are subtly sweetened & are GMO-free. Too bad they go so quickly...

I tried this cereal based on the strong recommendations here.
I dislike sweet cereals and this one has a delicate sweetness that is just enough! Yes, it has a corn flake flavor but it is so much better than that! The flakes are heavier and stay crunchy. I had to leave in the middle of my cereal once and came back 1/2 hour later and it was a mushy mess, much like most commercial cereals, so the crunchiness has it's limits. The ingredients are awesome and my husband enjoys it, too, and he likes sweeter cereals than I do. So it is a family pleaser. As above, this cereal goes fast so eat and order often!

Wow...a mildly sweet cereal, low in sodium, with all the protein and nutrients of blue corn, great taste. Found it by accident! Yippee! (Just don't tell the kids how healthy it is...or maybe just tuck it away for yourself!)

This is the best tasting cereal & it's not junk. Central Market & Whole Foods were the only stores that carried it, and now they have stopped selling it. I am so excited that this product is available at Amazon! I encourage you to try it even though it sounds a little weird and the flakes are blue (like blue corn chips). The taste is delicious! Kids will love it because of the color and sweet flavor, yet it's sweetened with cane juice (5g of sugar per serving)--no high fructose corn syrup here--and low amount compared to many other "sweet-tasting" cereals. Please, give it a try!!!! (my motive is selfish--I want Amazon to continue selling it), but I promise, it won't dissapoint.
