Seems durable, but noisy.,

Very strong belt with a good, rough surface for traction. However, that rough surface provides for a noisy footfall each and every step, so the treadmill is not nearly as quiet in use as previously.
In addition, the instructions were hidden deep inside the rolled up belt .. BE SURE to unroll it completely before you begin your installation so that you can find the instructions. Not knowing this, I had to figure out how and which parts of the treadmill to take apart to get the old belt off and the new belt on (in my case, I'm pretty handy and happen to be an engineer - with some studying of the assembly and mechanism, I figured it out) .. when I got to the point of putting the new belt on, I finally found the instructions :S Overall, I'm happy with the purchase, but would have preferred a softer surface material (was not able to find a belt like that). For the price, I have been able to repair the treadmill rather than replace, which would have cost ten+ times more !!! |
