I have these for a quick and easy lunch. I have tried the flavors and they are all great. I usually don't like any of the HC products, but this is surprisingly good, the chicken is too. One of the great things is there are no wierd ingredients or major usages of HF corn syrup or anything... a good buy.

The sauce is a little spicy, and the pasta can be cooked to your own preference. Then the entire meal is under 300 calories ...
This is a wonderful lunch option, especially for busy working professionals!

Added water up to the fill line - popped this sucker in the microwave for 3 minutos. Beep. Drained. Nuked the sauced for 30 seconds. Poured sauce over pasta. Presto.

It was enough lunch for me. I pretty much sit on the computer all day surfing the internet (paid to do nothing at work) - so I don't get famished. Point - this is not a lunch for the hardworking construction worker who just spent 6 hours working 2x4s framing. Didn't buy this to lose weight/eat healthy/etc, but more out of convenience of leaving in my desk drawer in my office.

Flavorwise, it left more to be desired but it beats others in similiar categories where you nuked your pasta with sauce at the same time. I can see where if one was inclined to pack more in their lunch bag, some hot sauce and parmesan cheese would nicely add to the flavor.

What does concern me is exactly how much packaging/container is used for this small lunch. I thought I might be able to reuse it, but the container really isn't strong enough for repeated use. This isn't exactly landfill friendly.

I always keep a few of these at the office since they don't need any refrigeration. They are quick to prepare in the microwave (the pasta cooker/strainer design is pretty cool) and they taste good. It's a small portion to be a meal on its own, but at least it'll get you by for awhile. It comes in at 300 calories, 4g fat and 7g fiber, so it's fairly healthy. The sodium is very high at 600mg, though.

So far I like these the best of the Healthy Choice items I have sampled. The price is reasonable, shipping was fast, and packaging was good. These are handy as snacks or impromptu meals out here in Afghanistan when I don't want to go to the chow hall.

I bought these meals to have at work for lunch. I found that I could get them at Amazon for about $1 per bowl than if I were to buy them in the local market. For me, the rotini and zesty marinara bowls just aren't hearty enough. They don't come close to filling me up. But, I've discovered that Healthy Choice Fresh Mixers, Ziti & Meat Sauce, 6.95-Ounce Bowls (Pack of 6) are much more substantial and come much closer to being a complete meal. While they aren't as filling as a meal from home or in a restaurant, if you're trying to cut back, they're a great addition to your daily food intake.

I'm not a Lean Cuisine/Healthy Choice fan but the HC Fresh Mixers Rotini & Zesty Marinara is one I can eat almost everyday! It's so much cheaper on Amazon than what I paid for it at the local grocery store. I keep them at home and work. A great lunch in a pinch! And it doesn't take 10 minutes to cook like some others I have bought.

This is an amazingly easy product to make. you take off the wrapping, cardboard, lid, and inner tray. After that, you fill to the line, put back on the lid, and microwave for the stated time (3minutes 30 seconds I believe). You can also heat the sauce (which I personally recommend doing). It tastes great. Some people might find the flavor a little strong, but I think it's amazing.

At 300 calories, this isn't a very filling meal. Yet, it tastes great and is pretty easy to make. And the fact you don't have to refrigerate it is a major plus. If it had around 500 calories, it would be perfect, but I can just supplement it with a yogurt. I highly recommend heating the sauce for 30 seconds as it suggests on the package.

the rotini & zesty marinara healthy choice fresh mixers are delicious...quick to make and you dont have to store them in the refridgerator/freezer at work (for those of us who work with lunch-stealers!)...im a bit of a pasta snob...but i do love these! my only complaint is the amount of waste that is created by the packaging...
