5.0 out of 5 stars Easy, fast, and so delicious!!!
This is an excellent cookbook for anyone wanting to eat healthy, but not spend hours in the kitchen. The results are extra tasty and there is no guilt because every recipe has the calories, fat, etc. printed on the page! I have had success with every recipe, and it is by no means a sacrifice to eat these healthy dishes. I checked this book out from the library, and after...

2.0 out of 5 stars Healthy, Quick, For Two? Yes Tasty? No
This cookbook features extremely simple to prepare recipes for two people. The ingredients are all easily found in your local grocery store. The problem is the recipes are all dull and bland. For truly tasty cooking for two try the latest Sunset Cooking For Two Book.

I checked this book out from the library, and after making several recipes I had to buy a copy to keep! Get a copy today if you want fast, easy, and very delicious recipes!

5.0 out of 5 stars lifesaver!, November 27, 1999
By A Customer
Super recipes--very easy and healthy. Most ingredients are already in your kitchen. This book has been a true lifesaver for us as a working couple and new parents --we have managed to avoid the fast food rut! My husband makes the easy recipes as often as I do. Our fave is Chicken Zucchini Crisp. I recommend it highly to couples or singles!

5.0 out of 5 stars Consistently Yummy, September 24, 2001
By A Customer
I've tried many of the recipes in this book and all of them have been even better than they sounded. Generally they are easy to make and have satisfied both my husband and I. I would definitely recommend it.

5.0 out of 5 stars The Best Cookbook Ever!, November 30, 2001
By A Customer
This cookbook is the best. The recipes are tasty, the directions easy to follow, the ingredients easy to find. It was out of print for a while and I lost my copy and had to actually borrow my sister's to find my favorite recipes!

I often double the ingredients for dinner parties.

Get this one if you don't have it!

4.0 out of 5 stars Good choice!, August 15, 2007
This review is from: Healthy Cooking for Two (Paperback)
My husband and I have made several recipes from this book, and they've all been very good. Directions are easy to follow and the meals are tasty. When we're cooking for more than just the two of us, it's easy enough to just double the recipes. We like to watch what we eat, so it's great to have a cookbook that includes calorie count and nutrition information -- most cookbooks I've seen don't do that. The one thing I would like to have seen the author do differently is to include the nutritional information based on weight (eg. 3 oz. portion) or a measured portion (eg. 2 cups), rather than just "per serving." But overall, it's a great book.

5.0 out of 5 stars Wholesome whole foods for two, October 1, 2007
This review is from: Healthy Cooking for Two (Paperback)
This cookbook features healthy, interesting recipes for two that can be prepared quickly yet don't rely on a lot of convenience foods. Live alone? Pack leftovers for lunch the next day. If you like "comfort-style" food but don't like all the calories and fat this is the book for you!

Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Healthy Cooking for Two (Paperback)
Should be titled Healthy Cooking for 4-6. The recipes are probably fine but I purchased the book looking for recipes that cooked 2 servings per recipe. This book does not fit the bill. It is just like the other cook books I bought when I did need to cook for 4-6.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good Cooking, November 9, 2006
This review is from: Healthy Cooking for Two (Paperback)
The recipes are easy to follow, although they require ingredients I wouldn't normally have around the house. That was the only difficult part. Then again, no one said being healthy was easy.
I reccommend this to anyone who wants to eat healthy and doesn't mind working a little for it.
