I just bought this book a few days ago, and I've already prepared several recipes. They were terrific! The recipes are easy to follow, and most do not contain expensive or hard to find ingredients. Each recipe also includes a nutritional breakdown of calories, fat, cholesterol, sodium, fiber and protein. This book is a must have for health conscious cooks!

I also made several recipes from the cookbook within the first week, and my entire family was impressed with the results. The food was easy to prepare and turned out tasting fantastic. The fact that it's healthy is a great bonus. In fact, it tastes too good to be healthy.

I was so happy with my purchase of this book! I love to cook and really want to have a variety of healthy foods to prepare that are still tasty and easy to prepare. There are so many different combinations and choices I was shocked and the best part is they have a nutrional chart on each recipe that tells you exactly how many calories, fat etc are in each dish! Great buy!

We love this book and are trying most of the recipes in them! We got it at Amazon for a good price too.

I received this book and was sorely disappointed. My favorite cookbook is Better Homes and Gardens' 1994 version of "America's Best-Loved Community Recipes" so I jumped at the chance to get this book but after browsing through, it was clear that this book was not for me, as the "healthy" make-overs of family favorites apparently means taking out the flavor and using substitutes for real ingredients. I donated this book to my local library.
