I like that the book had some introductory information about smoothies and how to make them healthy. The information and recipes are easy to read--brief and in a large font.
About 20 of the recipes have banana as an ingredient, so I didn't like that since the recipient is not a fan of banana. I like that the recipes are mostly non-dairy. About 10 of them contain yogurt and the recipes with milk call for coconut milk or other non-dairy milk.
The ingredients from the recipes that I consider the least common are: mint leaves, ground flax seeds, and green tea, but only one or two recipes contain those things.
With that said, these recipes are easy, delicious, healthy and fun. Nice thin book. No frills and the directions are easy to follow and the ingredients are easy to find at your local grocery store.
In "Healthy Fruit Smoothies" with over 30 recipes for delicious smoothies you could have a different one every day of the month. Lee gives you options and suggestions as to which ingredients you can add to maximize the health benefits of your smoothie. Each recipe has a calorie count so you know how much of your daily allowance is in it.
If you love smoothies this is the book for you.
