Although I have not yet tried all of the recipes in here, I am very much liking what I have found in this book. The recipes are healthy, original, and easy to make. Did I forget to mention something there? Oh, the recipes in this are crazy delicious! They are so good that they actually have me addicted to salads. I feel like a master chef from making such tasty salads, but in reality I do not have any special culinary skills. I simply follow the directions given to me by this cookbook and then enjoy. Absolutely fantastic recipes. Five stars!

1. The title is plucked from the air. This is a random selection of recipes, most of which I wouldn't necessarily categorize as salads that would help you lose weight. I am especially annoyed with cookbooks that claim to be 'healthy' or to help with weight loss that include no nutritional information. The first recipe is for macaroni salad with 1 cup of mayonnaise, 1/2 cup white sugar, and 4 cups of macaroni which you cook and drain.

2. There are only two photographs, and as far as I can tell they are not photographs of any of the recipes in the book.

3. The Table of Contents is not hyperlinked. Recipes do not begin on their own page. Formatting isn't consistent.

4. Spelling errors and clunky writing. Recipes for 'Beat and Avocado Salad' and 'Tomato-Basil Caprice Salad.' The first line in the description of the former begins, "Beat haters.." lol if I beat haters, doesn't that make me a hater?

5. The recipes themselves are fairly mundane, many very 'deli-like' and use of mustard in various forms is heavy.
