The recipes are great and tasty - easy to prepare and never fail to please the palette.

This cookbook is well designed and the photography is luscious and mouthwatering. I highly recommend this book for all kitchens and gift-giving occassions.

"The real appeal of the cookbook is the content..." ...For those who may
be a little intimidated by the prospect of cooking with chiles, Wiseman assures cooks they control
how hot the dish will be. For the uninitiated, he includes a complete explanation
of the chiles and spices used in the cookbook and a guide to
mail order sources for Southwestern ingredients...Each recipe has nutritional information regarding
calories, cholesterol and sodium. More than 30 Heart Smart recipes are
designated by a tiny heart to show they meet the American
Heart Institute's stringent guidelines.
