As I mentioned in my review of Healthy Vegetarian Collection: More Than 100 Healthy Recipes for a Vegetarian Diet by Bindi Wetzel, I am looking at the idea of a vegetarian lifestyle. Her books allowed me to see the type of meals that I would be eating. This book is a great beginning for someone, like me, who is looking for some dinner recipes to try out.

As with her other book, I bookmarked several recipes to try.

I am a dedicated and lifelong meat eater, but I've been trying to compromise with my wife and balance my carnivore ways with some veggie meals. This has been a great book for me to start discovering some simple vegetarian recipes. I have no flair in the kitchen but I know I can follow a recipe and I've found the recipes in this book extremely easy to use. Thumbs up from me.

I love vegetarian cooking. I did not like the recipes in this book. A lot of these recipes have premade items in it. Like store bought polenta and refrigerated dough. Very basic recipes, and odd food combinations. I deleted off my kindle.

Bindi Wetzel is the author of the "Healthy Vegetarian" cookbook series and the "Plant Based Diet" series, a food writer, and teacher. She enjoys cooking simple dishes that are healthy and delicious.

Bindi dreams of one day opening her own vegetarian restaurant. Until then she experiments with creating new recipes that satisfy even the pickiest meat eater.
