Book Description

What does a vegetarian way of eating look like? Being a vegetarian simply means eating a plant-based diet. It means living on a diet consisting of vegetables, grains, dairy products, and fruits.

There are many different reasons why someone would choose a vegetarian diet. Some vegetarians condemn meat eating due to the nature of the way animals are killed for food. Many believe meat is not needed in the human diet for survival or to be healthy. Many vegetarians simply choose vegetarian eating for any number of health reasons.

Healthy Vegetarian Dinners is Book 3 in the series and contains a collection of 28 recipes to help you prepare a great meal with healthy recipes that will satisfy. A sample of the delicious vegetarian dinner recipes include:
  • Stuffed Pizza
  • Vegetable Lasagna
  • Veggie Burgers with a Kick
  • Pacific Tacos
  • Vegetarian Casserole
The author has also included an introduction to vegetarian eating in the front of the book to give you a quick, easy-to-follow guide on the foods recommended for a healthy vegetarian eating plan.

The vegetarian recipes from this series will broaden your food choices and help you find some new favorites as well as give you some wonderful information on what a vegetarian diet is like.

5.0 out of 5 stars Simple and tasty December 6, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
I am a dedicated and lifelong meat eater, but I've been trying to compromise with my wife and balance my carnivore ways with some veggie meals. This has been a great book for me to start discovering some simple vegetarian recipes. I have no flair in the kitchen but I know I can follow a recipe and I've found the recipes in this book extremely easy to use. Thumbs up from me.

This book includes research and discussion about vegetarianism substitutes for dairy, natural sugars. It includes a good variety of simple recipes - my favorites include Vegetable Lasagna, Bean Burritos, and Cheesy, Cheesy Ziti. The only thing I wish it included was nutrition information for each recipe.

3.0 out of 5 stars Good starting cookbook October 19, 2012

This cookbook is great if you're newly vegetarian or just trying to incorporate some more vegetarian dishes into your routine. It is not that great for someone that has been cooking vegetarian for a while. There is nothing new or inventive in it. But it is great for starting out!
