This is nice for beginners. The pictures fit children way more than adults but there is a nice variety in vocabulary. It is hard to find good audio programs to learn the beginnings of speaking German. This gives some very useful words (maybe 200 in 23 pages) but the articles are not explained and the verbs are not conjugated. It would be great for children and very beginner speakers. There are noises before each German vocabulary word (each word said twice) instead of English words making some fun.

Love the DVD that accompanies this book! I transferred it to my Ipod so my youngest German student can listen along while he reads.
