3.0 out of 5 stars Heard It Mixed Up, November 10, 2009
This review is from: Heard 'Em All (MP3 Download)
There is no question about Amerie, and her departure from making new music in awhile. While her latest album, In Love & War has been mixed, she has had some bright spots with her last single, Why R U, which had definitely delivered a stronger edge, but a real driven song. For her second single from the album, Heard 'Em All, the song definitely tries bringing in more of a Hip Hop and dance driven style. Sadly, the song really isn't as strong as was the case with Why R U. The song doesn't deliver a striking vibe that matches in what Amerie had showed before. I do hope that Amerie's next single can try to deliver the way Why R U had showed. Honestly with Heard "Em All, it shows that it really isn't interesting the way it was heard before.
