I was having a small noise problem with some neighbors whose schedule differed from mine by several hours, and needed to find some earplugs to prevent unneeded strife. I ran across an excellent review by Ulrich Boser on Slate - [...]- and took his advice to try the Hearos Ultimate Softness earplugs first, and haven't found any reason to try any others. They're very comfortable - no trouble sleeping with them in. Sound attentuation is excellent and broad band (neighbor noise problem solved), but the attenuation is so good, it's easy to miss ones alarm clock in the morning. A pair is typically good for a couple of weeks before the interior foam cells break down and they won't stay compressed long enough to insert them.

Seriously, i have tried many different products. This one works the best!!! I can wear it all day long without feeling being stabbed in my ears.

I have standard ears, and was looking for something comfortable to wear on a NIGHTLY basis :) After reading a bunch or reviews, I am glad to say that these plugs are indeed affordable, yet easy to use, comfortable, and they definitely keep nuisance away. 32dB reduction means that although noises are reduced significantly, well you can still hear around, but dimly. Will try them on in both bed and rock concerts. They seem perfect!

I have been living in an apartment with paper-thin walls for about a year and work a night-shift. My neighbors love to make excessive noise during the day. I purchased these after reading an article on Slate.com. They have been very effective in blocking noise from neighbors/lawn mowers/television/etc. I use them every day. Also a fantastic accessory for flights, road trips, camping, reading, etc.. Obviously I'm a little sensitive to sound and don't like telling people to shut up. If used in the way they are intended to be, Hearos are extremely effective and comfortable. Plus, a pack lasts awhile.

I have very small ears, and while these earplugs are slightly softer than the others I've tried, they still ended up making my ears feel sore after a short period of time. On the bright side, they blocked out most noise and didn't fall out while I slept. I was able to faintly hear people talking loudly down the hall, but it didn't bother me too much.

You don't even feel them in your ears, which is common with other ones. They block more sound than average ones as well. I don't want to use any other product. I'm sold

These are great ear plug if you want to block out any sounds from people in your house, apartment or loud neighborhood noises. They are comfortable to wear and I usually take mine out in the middle of the night. They stay inside your ear firm and they are priced very affordable.

These are rated 36 Db and they filter out noise nicely. Easy to use (if you read the how to) Work well and if left in your pocket you can use them again after washing you pants.

My wife uses these all the time seeing as we live in a noisy apartment building. She loves them.

I followed the dierections and shoved them in my ears. Nothing really happened. I can block sound better by plugging my ears with my fingers. Maybe this helps block the noise of jet engines or something very loud, but that doesnt really make sense to me. Kinda a waste of money.
