I lived in the East Village in Manhattan, with a bedroom that faced onto a busy street and a flatmate who loved watching TV at extraordinary volumes late into the night. I tried many different earplugs, and these were the ones that let me sleep through the night. They're fantastic at blocking sound, they don't fall out like some smaller-profile plugs, and they don't hurt the ear canal the way some large plugs can. Highly recommended.

These earplugs are GREAT! I've tried dozens of earplugs to block out my boyfriend's intense snoring, but these really do the trick -they reduced the noise to below the threshold of a whisper. And they are really comfortable - my ears didn't hurt in the morning. I've recommended them to everyone I know.

I have a cieling fan in my bedroom that hums and have tried every type of earplug known to man and nothing worked,I always heard the 'Hum' of the fan.
Then I found 'Hearos',the blue ones. These completely blocked out the noise to the point that I couldn't hear a thing.I'm able to sleep comfortably through the night without a problem.
Don't wear them if you need to hear the phone ring because you won't hear a thing with these baby's in.

if you read the directions and insert them correctly as thin cylinders into your inner ear, they block out sound very very well to provide for a peaceful night of sleep etc. also if you insert them correctly, they won't fall out if you sleep on your side

I travel a lot for work, and I am a light sleeper. I wake up from noisy air conditioners turning on and off all night as well as flimsy walls/floors/loud neighbors. I keep a pair of these earplugs in every piece of luggage I own. They are SUPER comfortable. You can squeeze them and push them in very far, and they don't fall out in the middle of the night. The are the only earplugs that work as far as I'm concerned. They do come in nude/flesh tone, which I like better, just because they're not as obvious if you're on a plane or somewhere in public.

My partner has several coughing fits every night. Each time it wakes me from a sound sleep. It even drives the dog crazy. Once she starts coughing he goes to a bed in a different room. I don't have another bed, so I had to find a solution.

I researched ear plugs and decided to try these based on excellent reviews. I didn't pay a whole lot for them, and, frankly, doubted they'd help that much. I put them in last night. I run a sound machine all night, and I could still hear a slight hum from it. This worried me a little. However, after I fell asleep I did not wake up once due to coughing! I am thrilled with this product.

These work so well that I didn't hear the alarm. It wasn't a problem because I was already awake, and the dog goes crazy when the alarm goes off. However, be aware of this.

I've tried many over the years. This past week I spent a week in a barracks with over 40 women. I tried my EARS brand which are more comfortable, but I found that these were far superior. One of my peers gave me a pair after I complained that I was being awakened long before my desired wake-up time due to the talking. I am happy to say that once I started using these there was no longer a sleeping problem - and I used the same pair for 4 nights. Try it...you'll be happy you did!

There are types if ear plugs, the silicon kind and the porous kind. Do not bother the later. To really stop the noise, you need the solid material. These didn't help block out noise on the plane or when I slept.
