From the Inside Flap
Romance was the last thing Brooke Bennett expected when she held an open house during the pouring rain. But when Kent Macintosh, a freshman congressman whose name was always followed by the words, eligible and bachelor, walked in the door with a dripping umbrella and high hopes for finding a house for his parents, everything changed for them both.
Brooke really wants to place his difficult-to-please parents in the perfect house and knows exactly which one fits their particular demands. The only problem is that a famous murder was committed in the house and no one else will touch it. She¹s afraid they may not even want to look at it.
During their house search and Kent¹s difficult political battle, his meddling mother almost wrecks their romance in an attempt to help her son while the mystery of the house unravels before them.
