I can't stop listening to this album! It's VERY catchy and it plays much better than the brief sound clips you can sample here (most of which don't include the ultra-melodic choruses)! To put it plain and simple, if you like 80s hard rock titans like Journey, Survivor, Loverboy, Stan Bush, Joe Lynn Turner, etc. then you will most likely LOVE this album! It's time to REJOICE 80s hard rock fans! Somebody FINALLY got it right! If you only buy a single song try 'Wildest Dreams'. You'll be back for more! Their earlier album 'False Metal' is another unforgettable classic and is well worth tracking down! Their music is simply exhilarating!

Brother Firetribe brings back good hard rock with great melodies. This is the way rock n roll should be done. Fun and happy lyrics done over great, rocking guitars, bass and drums. If you love melodic rock then buy Brother Firetribe today.

From the very second I put this cd in I was absolutely hooked.

As many others have said, it brings back that amazing Rock/Metal sound from the 80's. It actually reminds me of all my favourite songs without being a rip off of any of them.

With music being what it is, it's hard to believe that an album this good was made in 2008! Every track makes me want to put it on repeat and never stop listening to it. I have been listening to this album on repeat now for 4 hours. Yes it's that good!

The standout track for me is "Wildest Dreams" which is quite possible the greatest rock song I have ever heard. It's a shame not many people know about this band because I believe that in all honesty, if this stuff was played on the radio it would be at the top of the charts. This album is beautiful, breathtaking and just beyond words.

I love this band and I just started listening to them about three weeks ago. I was reading reviews for lesser known bands and came across Brother Firetribe and found myself hearing a sound not heard in a while. Old school AOR and just plan Rock N Roll that had me more interested in a band than I had been in a long time. Kind of a Journey sound before Journey started doing ALL ballads. This band can do it all it seems, Runaways is a nice sounding midlevel rock song, while I Am Rock is almost metal(almost). I am not a fan of ballads but even Chasing The Angels had my interest as a great ballad. Their first album False Metal is also worth checking out and maybe even better than this one but they both rock. So if you like old rock and are tired of the soft alternative sound of today look up Brother Firetribe. But I will say this not to undermine Amazon but iTunes does have both albums for cheaper if you have iTunes. Anyway rock on and look forward to more great things from this band.

This group has the kind of sound where after listening to 30 seconds from each song you want to buy every CD they ever recorded. I think that's what I'll do very soon. I think I'm going to enjoy this group.

While I enjoyed Bother Firetribe's 2006 debut album False Metal, I wasn't excited enough about it to run out and buy their 2008 follow-up Heart Full of Fire right away. I picked up a used copy earlier this year and popped it in the CD player, not really expecting anything other than a polished, restrained AOR album. All I can say is that I wish I hadn't waited so long!

My only real gripe with False Metal was that the band was a little too AOR and lacked some electricity, but that's definitely not the case with Heart Full of Fire. Emppu Vuorinen (Nightwish) serves up more guitar hooks and catchier melodies, which gives Heart Full of Fire just that - there's a burning energy at the heart of this great melodic rock album. The keyboards are incredible as well, and take a much more prominent role this time around. And then there are the vocals. Pekka Heino (Leverage) sounds like he locked himself in a room for a few months with the complete Joe Lynn Turner discography. He turns in an incredibly smooth, incredibly powerful vocal performance that is the highlight of the album. I also enjoyed the guest vocals on the title track by Annette Olszon (Nightwish). I knew she was better suited to this kind of music!

Heart Full of Fire is a near-perfect melodic rock album that fans of bands like Journey, Survivor, Rainbow, Sunstorm and Place Vendome should absolutely fall in love with. It's song after song of unforgettable melodic rockers and ballads. I wasn't totally convinced by False Metal, but Heart Full of Fire has made me a believer!

I was kind of unsure about this CD, I bought it mainly because of Anette from Nightwish singing on one song, and Empuu also from Nightwish being a member (my favorite band by the way!) being on this recording. Wow, what a pleasant surprise! I am an old Journey fan back from the Steve Perry days and I just totally love this CD! Pekka's voice is impeccable and I agree with another reviewer that I will probably have to own all of their CD's. So, if you love music in this genre give it a try, and you won't be disappointed!

"Heart full of fire" is the second studio album by Finnish AOR/melodic rock super-group "Brother Firetribe" originally released in 2008. It would be fair to say that with their 2006 debut, the outfit shook the international melodic rock community delivering a landmark of an album which stood apart from the member's previous works and bands. The line up remains unchanged; lead singer Pekka Heino, guitarist Emppu Vuoriren, bassist Jason Flinck, key player Tomppa Nikulainen and drummer Kalle Torniainen.

In comparison to their debut album "Breakout", "Heart full of fire" continues on the same key of classic sounding, AOR once again capturing the 80s essence and delivering more potential hits for the genre. Melodic keyboards, complementary rhythm guitars, thunderous rhythm section and captivating lead vocals. Put simply "Heart full of fire" is based on the same qualities as its predecessor only being bigger and better; there is an incredible amount of AOR hymns on this album: "Going out with a bang" , "Chasing the angels", "Runaways", "Out of my head" and "I am rock" all bare undeniable AOR authenticity. Still, it is probably the title track that steals the show, "Heart full of fire" is a duet between Pekka and "Nightwish" singer Anette Olzon (who has previously served the AOR genre as the lead singer of cult Swedish group "Alyson Avenue"). Anyhow the track is a potential mega hit with a huge chorus, thunderous rhythm section and majestic keyboards.

With "Heart full of fire", "Brother Firetribe" made clear that their group is here to stay, proving that their debut was not just a lucky shot in melodic rock. Looking forward to a third studio album in the near future.

it's the music and playing that keeps you coming back, makes you wanna jump in a convertible corvette or ride a harley or do some workout or whatever healthy 80's gimmick,

and do it with pride! cos the 80's rock! and this is why in the late 2000's you still get to find albums like this one, homages to a period of exigent musicianship, adventurous musical explorations, sexy attitude and arrogant hair! long live! Fans of the ill-fated Gotthard, fear not, Brother Firetribe is here to keep the torch burning.

"Heart Full of Fire", es sin duda lo mejor que me ha pasado en el año 2008, este disco es la mejor sorpresa que he tenido, ya que son una banda prácticamente desconocida en mi país, de principio a fin, melodía y guitarras con un sonido espectacular, evocando a lo mejor de mi época favorita, los 80's, y a los grandes grupos que la hicieron memorable (Journey, Survivor, Europe, etc.) Por mencionar algunas canciones,Las fabulosas "Runaways" y "Wildest Dreams", además el tema principal acompañados por la actual vocalista de "Nightwish", no hay desperdicio en este gran disco, todas las canciones son destacables, es para disfrutarse de principio a fin, estos Finlandeses en verdad saben lo que hacen, un proyecto paralelo de miembros de bandas como "Nightwish" y "Leverage", que sin duda merecen la pena escuchar, a conseguir también su primer trabajo "False Metal" y en espera de que lleguen a México en alguna gira, y por qué no!, ojalá y graben muchos discos más para devolvernos esa sonrisa en la cara que tanta falta nos hace a los verdaderos amantes de la música, que en este país (recibimos mucha basura de U.S.A.), y en el mundo se necesitan obras como esta para disfrutar por mucho, mucho tiempo, y para terminar... ¡Viva "Brother Firetribe"!, GRACIAS!
