I have been grateful for the work of Krishna Das for some time now. I have all of his CDs, and appreciate them all.

That said, this CD feels particularly special to me. It is rich with feeling and spirit - richer than usual. Within a few seconds of hearing the samples of this offering, I rushed to buy it. It touched me. Deeply.

And when I was able to listen to the entire effort, I was even more touched. It truly opened my heart. The feelings held in these sacred songs helped me to feel. And since this CD came into my life at a time when my heart was closed, and feeling was hard, I'm especially grateful to Krishna Das for this work.

Each time I listen to this wonderful recording, I am moved. Sometimes I moved to deep peace. Sometimes I am moved to rise and dance. Sometimes I am moved to tears. This CD moves me.

Of all the many offerings by Krishna Das, this is my personal favorite. You can't go wrong with any of his CDs, of course. This one just speaks to my heart.

Thank you for Krishna Das for the gift of your voice, and the transparency of your spirit. You've touched me and I'm grateful.

I am a BIG fan of live (not studio) bhajans.
Most "new age" singers mix up the traditional call and response
bhajans with synthesizers, guitars and such for CD releases.
All you need is a walla (kirtan leader, ie: Krishna Das),
people to sing responses, a harmonium and tablas, for a perfect
bhajan recording.

This is a live (church?) recording of traditional call and response
bhajans. Perfect to sing along - time and time again.
This stuff does not get old.

Buy it, sing along, enjoy.
A bountiful treat for your heart.

Love it...Fabulous. Couldn't wait for the CD, bought the MP3 version. Thank you KD for another incredible collection of uplifting and divinely inspired work. Oh and thanks for "Jesus on the MainLine" it has been long overdue.

If you like Krishna Das, I think you will love this one. At one of his concerts I heard him sing Jesus on the mainline and was very happy to see that it is in this collection!

A wonderful compilation of KD's amazing voice and great music. Uplifting chants that feed the soul and heart. You cannot help but feel happy to be alive when listening to this!

I have just gone to chant with him and a band of his talented musicians in Big Island, and it was blissful(or soulful, you may say)experience as always.
This CD is an updated version of KD's live kirtan. Well, there may be an argument about sound quality, but this is how he performes his Kirtan right now. Bajhan selctions and their playing orders(except "Jesus on the main line"). Of course, not all the bajhans are in this, but the essence of his live Kirtan is all here.
So, I say this one is "as close as it gets" to experience a recent Krishna Das kirtan at your home, and I go to tell you, his voice sounds better each added year, mellower and deeper.
If you haven't seen him in a live recently, this one is a "must-have".
Ram Ram!

This is sung by an extremely mellow=voiced KD. Shri Ram Jai Ram begins with a slowed down tempo, which at first I didn't like, but now appreciate very much, particularly at the third tempo, which is a bit faster. The fourth tempo is where I feel it ought to have been all along, but it's a process. Listening helps you undergo the process in a way that provides you with the feeling that you have made some kind of emotional progress. It's as though you work your way there and it took me a while to get it. My favorite is Devakinandan Gopala. Listen at the end of a stressful day and let it take you to place filled with peace.

Krishna Das is just the best...this cd is better than i expected..it has touched me now every day, listening during meditation, listening while driving, listening before sleep, after being in a sad, depressed state of mind for some months,HEART FULL OF SOUL helped so much on my path to healing, in fact, it started the healing process...thank you, Krishna Das..

I have all but one of KD's CDs...if I had to choose the one CD I could have on a desert island, this would be it! Simple, pure and sweet in all its longing.

Krishna Das has much heart but a terrible singing voice. Only in the West could it be possible that he is considered a great performer of spiritual music. Devotion aside, his voice is about as melodic as a toad. There are so many excellent Indian devotional singers available now on the internet that I wonder why anyone is still buying his stuff.
