I loved Deadman's last album, Paramour. Blue River and Down by the Winedale are two of my favorites. I was really hoping that this new album would live up to the last one...and it did!!Deadman has a beautiful way of weaving stories into their music. Their sound is smart and refreshing. Take the time and listen to Sad Ole' Geronimo and When the Music's Not Forgotten off their new album. I promise, if your not a Deadman fan now you soon will be!!

Saw these guys play in Austin for SXSW. Good show, even better cd. It's a mix of new indie folk, say iron and wine, with a bit of texas grit. My favorite tracks were "The Monsters of Goya" and "Blood Moves". I'm just wondering where the full album is.

Deadman restores my faith in Music. Beautiful, ambient, gritty, real, and meaningful, this album is what music is meant to be. From the beginning, Deadman has made spectacular music, and it's refreshing to see that they are just getting even more amazing as time goes on.

At the end of a Criminal Minds episode a song played that I couldn't get out of my head..I really liked it so I watched a rerun of Criminal Minds, waited for the end credits, and found the name Deadman...Now I'm usually not so hell bent on going to the trouble to do all this but their song was great.."When The Music's Not Forgotten" is the song... I, of course, went right to Amazon...There it was. Deadman is a little known duet of two very talented people...I liked the song and now own it..The other songs on the CD aren't so memorable but I know this couple will go far if they stick with it...It's a catchy song...give it a listen.

This is a nice album, one exception--only 6 songs, not nearly enough to recommend the album as is, would like to hear more tunes. Can't beat the price though.

I heard this music first on Criminal Minds. It's incredible music! I tracked it down by remembering the lyrics and ordered it immediately. It is very soulful and different from everything else out there. It's hard to pinpoint what "type" of music it is--- it's just beautiful!

I purchased this CD because of the song "When The Music's Not Forgotten", which is really beautiful.I also like "Mankind". The other song, "Ole Geronimo" is good but it's difficult to hear the lyrics.

Wandered into a show at the Continental Club here i Austin and heard Deadman for the first time a couple of months ago. Amazing band and really well written songs. Since then I have been tracking down whatever I can find by them. This EP is a welcome addition. Can't wait to find their new one...

This album inspires me to drink a fine wine. The group is fantastic. There are only 5 songs however and 3 of them are on the other album I own by them, so I was a little disappointed. It is excellent, moody, haunting music, but I would recommend that you get "Our Eternal Ghosts" first if you don't own it already because it has more music and except for the 2 songs, the same music. Nonetheless the two other songs are worth the average selling price of this album. Great group. The only reason I can think of to ever go to Texas.
