i was in the middle of a divorce and was hurting bad. a friend gave me this to help me through the tough times. it's a wonderful way to put things in perspective when you think all is lost. i have read many of the passages several times. it's a concrete affirmation that there is more to life than the physical. it makes one think, hope, and pray that when our life is over, we'll get to see god and enjoy eternity. it also helps with direction during our decision making with others and how god is there to help us with those decisions. it's a great book

Fr. Lou Guntzelman wrote a book that is lasting. He had a way of getting down deep in a subject, and bringing the best out of a situation. Fr. Lou died last June.and he has been missed.
A very bright and likeable guy,who was a good priest, and was loved by his parishioners.
